Well I had a nice relaxing bath this morning, but noticed that I have a rash on my left foot :? My ankle and leg are swollen too. My mum has odoema and I don't know if it's hereditary (hope it's not that!!!). SAnyway, I got dressed and put my comfy boots on... but now they feel a bit tight and I daren't try and take them off in case I can't get them back on again as I have to drive the girls 50 miles to meet their dad when they get home from school and OH is at work (over 20 miles away).....

Shez - I only asked for Camber Sands (my first choice) or Hemsby - both easy for us to get to. Believe there is more parks available.

Cambersands is lovely - the beach is fantastic.

Last nite I tried starting on getting a home folder sorted out - details of insurances, prices and due dates etc (that kinda thing) - so far Ive just got a list of things on paper! Has anyone else got one? if so, how have you laid it out? any ideas would be welcome!

    Shez,

I have an old filing cabient with files in for the house bills/deeds/etc etc.

As for remembering all the renewal dates/birthdays etc etc, I put them into the Calendar on Microsoft Outlook, so each morning I check my Emails,a message pops up if I need to do something,i.e shop for car insurance etc. (just remember to put things in a few days before they are due.i.e post the birthday card, etc) It works for me and its free:T

    I've definately gone OS
woodburning stove now installed in kitchen. 3 logs burning in it.
    = no radiators on
= 3 pans of water simmering on top
= washing up done with free heated hot water - no oil used
= several cups of tea and coffee without using the electric kettle
    =tea towels drying
=lunch [ a HM stew out of the freezer made from left overs]cooked ontop of stove, no elec or oil used for cooking lunch :-)
= nice warm feet in the kitchen despite the floor being tiled
= and my 2 cats warm and snug in their cat basket in front of wood burner.

only 'leccie being used is for this laptop and the fridge-freezer [ but that does have a savaplug fitted.]

    going OS feels so good.

    hi

Treated myself to a new magazine - called Let's Knit. Mioliere doesn't know what she's done to me. I absolutely love my newly acquired hobby and can't thank her enough for her encouragement:kisses:

I'm so glad you're enjoying all the knitting - just think what you were missing! You are so good at it that it would have been a waste of your talent not to have learnt. I have bought a few copies of 'Let's Knit' but I didn't buy this month's because I have too many projects to do and it would distract me. Please, please, please don't tell me that there are some wonderful patterns in it - I'm trying to resist the urge to buy it!

Pink - your hair is amazing! I love it!

    merlot,

yes I have one of those box filing cabinets (well 3 actually!) - I was trying to put it all in a book/folder thinking it would be easier to flick through rather than having to lug the boxes out and pull everything out! lol - as for the computer I'm always worried about it not working and then you can't access your information when you want it! l:rotfl:

    Well.....
I have been and posted my ebay item, cost was £2.50 (I allowed for £2.99) so thats ok, but the item only went for £1.99 in the end - so I wonder whether its worth the effort of packaging up and going to the post office!:rotfl:

I also picked my mum's new glasses from asda, she only went on thursday for eyetest  so thats mega quick service:T hope she is happy with them.

back to school now to pick up ds2! byeeee

Almo I definately drove my work colleagues (and everyone else) mad talking about my house for months before we moved in! We were really lucky and managed to get a brand new build on a new housing estate as part of a government low cost 1st time buyers scheme. We had been in a council flat for 10 years before that with particularly anti-social neighbours so it was like all my birthday wishes coming true! I was in tears when the woman rang me to offer me the property we wanted!! I think she thought i was crazy but i didnt care.

    Good luck to you hun

Edited to say; Love the pink hair, it's soooooooooo cool.
