Hi what is the diffrence from budget to classic and club. How much is it and is it worth it?
I am going to prestatyn on 21st for the first time and wondering??
Or is it too late to upgrade.
Also there is me wife and 5 kids the lady gave us 6 berth and said it should be OK the smallest 5 year old can share with us is that OK.
Is there any bigger apartments?

Hiya everyone
Well weve just got back from our stay at Hembsy today.....and we loved it!
after stayin at southport last year for a few days i was quite wary and too all my cleaning stuff yet again but i can honestly say it was spotless,i was gobsmacked if im honest ,we had a budget room too..linen was crisp ..carpet spotless..everything was spotless and i am very particular, smelt a bit funny as we opened the door but after opening the windows and goin off to explore when we got back it was smelling nice and fresh. We had a fab location too, nearish to everything so not too far to walk and we was right on the football pitch so my oh and my lil man were well away.we played tennis, went on the bikes, park, swimming pool (omg its soooooo bloody cold in that pool!!!!)we went to hembsy beach one day that was lovely we caught the weather right for sure lovely and hot...walking back we got soaked tho..my lil man thought it was great tho! spent the next day in great yarmouth 7 miles away, never been before and i loved it and its really really clean-think i was expecting blackpool but how wrong was i! used some tesco deals vouchers at harry ramsdens so lunch was free for all of us,went to pleasurewood hills the next day again with tesco deals vouchers and again it was lovely and sunny.every evening we did manage to make it to the kids disco as my son loved chuckles the monkey..didnt do any of the kids day time activities this time round as we was busy bees..i must say tho i found it slightly disapointing that the pool shut at 5pm most days and didnt open til 10am..the kids indoor play area only opened 10-4 and on a friday didnt open til 12pm..southport has better opening and closing times for the pool but on a whole hemsby was nicer..so much so that we want to return....ooh btw i know its not very money saving but if you really need a microwave you can hire them from the hire shop on site....just one more thing hembsy blue coats are much better than the ones in southport..well in our eyes they are...you might think different, but same as everything else we all have our own ideas and ways in which we like things..most of all if anyones goin have a great time! we did:j cazian :j

HI , Just thought i'd ask those who have just come back off ther hols did the clubhouse have talents comps and dance comps on like they did last year ???0
-
hubby and I won the darts
talent comps are a joke tho. At least darts etc, if you win you win.
The judges for the talent are dragged out of their chairs. Often you get 3 old bags who only like old stuff or 3 youngsters who only like modern stuff. When we were watching one judge got up and went for a pee in the middle of one performance and the girl went wrong twice, but still won cos the judges were talking and not watching her!!!!!!
There should be a mix of ages so it isn't advantageous to whoever is singing a song appropriate to the ages of the judges. eg if you had 3 sixty year olds judging and someone gets up and sings Band of Gold, and another sings a Coldplay song they've never ever heard in their life, who is going to win??? We were laughing at how awful it was. And totally unfair on the competitors as there is another holiday at stake!!
head office person take note.
We enjoyed our break as we just do loads of sports etc but many people said the site had gown downhill, that the bluecaots didnt care anymore. That was evident from our own wxperience. Apparently Pontins has been bought out, so maybe no more free hols:eek:
We're back in November for the darts finals anyway:TI can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...0 -
