Thanks for all the comments folks... we're reading them... and yes it needs a proof.
As for me being on the page or it being more similar to MSE - actually as a Charity it is a seperate body from the site and while it is the MSE charity fund it has its own entity as such we need to ensure it feels seperate.
Perhaps one answer is linking back to a page about the charity on here (not written yet) and also adding the charity registration number on every page (which should happen today)

I can't see any major navigation/display problems viewing the site with Firefox 3 (nightly build/Minefield), Firefox 2.0.0.14 or IE7.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

The MSECharity is here to help fight financial and consumer illiteracy and is dedicated to educating and informing people about how to help themselves on consumer and debt issues.
I'd rather see the above read that it is here to promote financial and consumer literacy rather than the negative0 -
Great idea. Good size print easy to read / eradicate the big words / make it as easy to read as a kids comic / some of the teenagers I have taught in the past had very poor reading skills as well as poor finance skills. Form very easy to fill in and all I can say is good luck:beer:0

might help if the main page had less techno babble on- people seeking this type of thing may just want to know what they can get help with- ie, is it just grants towards education courses, 1 to 1 debt counselling, etc?
link to the app form could also be easier located.. best of luck!Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)0 -
Easy to navigate and I have applied using "TEST".0
-
I did a test application as you'll see and I hate the last box where you have to say something about yourself and why you should be considered0
-
An automated email reply to say your application has been received would be a good touch.0

Nice clear site - as above, there are a few typos, e.g. on the 'How to apply' page it says 'The online applcation form' instead of 'The online application form', and 'Anything that fits the charities' remit' should be 'Anything that fits the charity's remit' (unless you're running more than one charity! Oooh I'm such a pedant).
Also, the home page mentions that you can volunteer your services and expertise as well as make a donation, but I cannot find any more information about this elsewhere on the site.0 -
Perhaps one answer is linking back to a page about the charity on here
that should definitely be included - after all the site is an education in itself!0
