Morning - Im just after some new ideas for burger making as Im doing some for tea tonight.''A moment's thinking is an hour in words.'' -Thomas Hood0

I mix the mince with some made up (cooled) sage and onion stuffing
Stretches the meat further and saves chopping onions etc
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
mine are just mince, onion, wholegrain mustard, herbs (parsley/basil with beef, sage with pork, mint/rosemary with lamb)and salt and pepper0

thanks!
What do you think would happen if I put suet in burgers?!
Also, was thinking of making sausagemeat burgers(lorne) as I have a pack in the freezer - but what other ingredients?
And I have a load of chicken and pheasant mince I was thinking of making into burgers, will it work?''A moment's thinking is an hour in words.'' -Thomas Hood0 -
Minced beef, finely chopped onions, breadcrumbs and a big pinch of oregano - bind with an egg yolk then shape and chill before frying - Yum!!0

They'd be very fattyMost people want to sweat fat out of their burgers, not add more.
I make burgers from steak mince, nothing elseI'll add this to the existing thread to give you more ideas.

This thread has really inspired me to make my own burgers. I've been trying to lose a bit of weight and getting bored with what I've been eating. I need a burger!!
Think I'll add onions, egg, breadcrumbs, chilli and cumin and serve in wholemeal bun with loads of sliced tomato. Will make hm wedges too. If I grill these they shouldn't be too fatty. I did a quick search on google and nutritional info looks ok. Off to get mince out of freezer0 -
