I have seen a template on forum for them to put everything in writing and to stop harassing by telephone? should i write one of them too?I tend to switch phone to silent now but with two children who might need to ring me when they are out thats not practical
When I was dealing with Lloyds I sent one to Lloyds, one to the DCA they had given me and one to itchy scratchy for some reason never heard from DCA again they took it in house back to Lloyds. In fact only today when looking through my file for someone else did I realise there was a DCA involved!
I would at the bottom put under your signature cc: and list who you are sending the letter to so that they see who you are dealing with. Definately while doing the postage send an harrassment letter to its very MSE to use one stamp! You might consider using recorded delivery too up to you.0 -

As you can see from above with cretins like lloyds we feel pressured to take it. any ideas?
Sorry butting in here, but we recently remortgaged with Chelsea building society and we have been on a DMP for two years so our credit history is rubbish - may be worth a call up to you!0 -
NO but away, broker told us that the late payments on hubbys credit report (3 to lloyds cc classed as "missed" but were in fact below min) has made remortgaging virtually impossible!!! he did find one with first nat at 7.89% but there were upfront fees, valuation and solitors but we havent got it, i thought hubby being self cert would make it diff anyway. got £27k of unsecured debt, £32k balance on mortgage so we thought we would borrow another £30k with mortgage co but it hasnt worked out!! i am LOATHE to add unsecured lending onto my house!! but as i have put on here the min payments for our debts are not now being made so they are all closing in!! have posted on the mortgage board but the people on there are SCARY lolDFW NERD....560

Well our deal was for people with bad credit and was 6.34% fixed for two years after that time if we are not late paying we will be taken on as mainstream. More importantly they treated us as humans its one free phone call if you feel up to it. Free legal and valuation too think the cost added to the mortgage was about £900 so quite competitive.0

Is it worth it in this climate? also self cert? worth a try mind!! got bad feeling about this broker too. havent signed anything yet, but looking at the interest fig on the 27 we were quoted is shocking in itself. he said that in 18 months time we could remortgage whole lot to a lower rate but god knows!!18mmonths a long time!! our lender is bank of scotland and have ALWAYS paid mortgage on time so thought about approaching them but broker said they wouldnt look at us cos of bad credit risk. i thought with such a low LTV they would, and just score us on our impeccable mortgage payment record?DFW NERD....560

We have only paid two months payments so very recent, I would chat with your current company first then look at chelsea - definately ditch this bloke! Mortgage brokers are desperate at the moment so it is in his interests to make you feel you need him.
Martin recommended a company London something that do mortgages for everyone and I am sure they don't charge or are very competitive so there is hope!0 -
Just whipped onto Chelsea website and had a gander and under self cert they have put "we do not have any products at the moment" seen the adverse deal though. thats where we are stuck not only adverse but self cert too!! had a look at Martins recc too, same prob.DFW NERD....560
