also this "sarah" paused before saying her name as if reading it from script! and she got name slightly wrong! they expect to talk about payment amounts and things when we cant blinkin understand them!

god this sites busy tonight!my post flew onto page two! anyone any ideas who to send letters to? solicitor, LLoyds or Moorhouse? or are they one and the same?

Sounds like Moorcroft who are a DCA. DO NOT CALL THEM BACK OR SPEAK TO THEM ON THE PHONE. I know it's stressful but just let them leave 'very important' messages on your phone. Unfortunately you may now have entered the world where nobody is who they say they are. Try getting a surname/family name from these !!!!!!s.

BTW no need to panic about charging orders- you are a long way away from anything like that yet.

How long have you had the credit card?

However I would suggest you ring Lloyds and ask them if they have passed it on. If they have then do'nt bother with trying reason. Come back onto this thread when you know.

had cc bout 8 to 10 years but only started struggling with it the last year, maxing it out and cannot afford the £260 min payment now, have paid £100 a month the last 3 months so I dont think they are going to play ball with any letters I send to keep paying that amount for a while, will just have to offer that amount and wait, got nowt extra to give!!

Hi, we sent all our letters to SCM and then they sold the debt to the DCA.They asked for the full amount we did'nt have it, i think it took a good six months before they sold it on.

doh!! Thanks, as i said earlier today worked a nightshift last and have not slept today (not eaten either), over tired now but i dont want to go up too early otherwise everything goes round and round. thank you everybody for your help, i have sounded like a stuck record today, info not sinking in etc.that sarah also said she had a copy of a letter we sent (the one asking for a reduced figure to pay for a whle). had to listen to message on phone again. i dont know whos who no more or what my bloody name is. Im off to bed and will start a new day tomorrow and see what mail i have, if not Lloyds, it be sumone else!!!!
