I have just had my eyes lasered (!) and have some contact lenses I don't need any more - hurrah! I was gonna stick them on ebay but didn't realise they don't let you sell stuff like that. I can't bring myself to chuck them as I paid good money for them so if anyone is interested and willing to send me a SAE to send them in they can have them - just PM me.
My prescription is -2.00
I have 31 daily disposable lenses UNO brand (Bateman opticians, now part of vision express, made by Sauflon) BBE 12/2010
2 packs of 3 Air Optix breathable lenses 01/2012 and 04/2012
2 packs of 3 UNO brand monthly disposable lenses 11/2011
I can give you any more details if you pm me. Obviously they are all sealed... Hope i can help someone!!0 -

All the sites I know that don't require a prescription don't supply this lens,
My current optician wants £30 a month, I can get these for £10 a month with a prescription from a UK company online,
Getting my prescription is difficult as they say i have to have 3 months after care first which means i have to pay for £90 for 3 months.
If anyone comes across a website where this lens that can be bought without a prescription please post it here.
thank you.
I'm getting these from SpecSavers for £15 PM.
You can also get them from http://www.aclens.com/editlens.asp?LensCartID=4283414
£23 for 3 pairs:D0 -
Does anyone know of any opticians currently offering good introductory offers for new contact lens wearers? I know there are sometimes free trial offers, is anyone aware of any at the moment?0

Most high street opticians offer free trials though they don't advertise the fact. I got mine from Vision Express (but they're expensive then after that!)0

I've signed up with SpecsSavers because I think they do a good deal, I got the £15 pm (elite) ones.0 -

I've just been having a look on the SpecSavers website at the prices for their all inclusive packages. The prices do seem quite good, but I'm a little confused about the different packages they offer, as I can't seem to find any information on what's actually included in the different packages! The packages are star price, standard, premium, elite and ultimate. Does anybody know what each package includes?0 -
Ahh OK, that makes sense. Do these all inclusive offers include the initial eye test? Sorry to bombard you with all these questions, and thanks for being so helpful!
hey, i was wondering if they charge for an initial eye test too, also.. looking at their website they seem to have cheap prices for buying online in bulk0 -

You have to pay, but you get it back when you subscribe to a DD contact lens package.
I think the eyetest bit is free, but its the contact lens check they charge for, but thats what you get back free when you take up the DD package.
ETA you also get one half price pair of specs per year & two vouchers for free replacements if you damage/loose your lenses.0
