I pay approximately £10 a month for lenses/solutions etc and then £15 every 6 months for a checkup - so that works out to about £12.50 a month.2 + 2 = 4
except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.0 -
K9cuddles wrote:Via D&A so specs are half price. Was paying £11 a month 40 pairs every 3 months but I wasn't wearing them!
That sounds like the deal I'm on now, except I got a box in November, a box in December and another yesterday
I must be deluding myselfMy TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

I am on a D&A scheme. £22 a month for 30 disposables every 2 months. free eye checks, aftercare and eye tests and half price glasses.
whenever I build up too many lenses at home, I just ring up D&A and they cancel the direct debit for a few months but I still keep all the benefits!I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. i buy mine online as i wear toric lenses and they are half what i would pay from the opticians.
I have my test done at the opticians and request the pescription, then just order them online. I also wear glasses but as i was getting free lenses (NHS) i just have them put in my old frames each time ( when i was rich i bought some nice FCUK frames)*Spendi*

£10 per month for torics, i have a +9.50 and +10.50 presciption, had to wear GP lenses for a year to flatten my astigmatism a bit but well worth it to get cheaper lenses.0

Lauren. please can I ask where you get your contacts from please? I am toric +8.50 and + 7.00. I have searched all over the net for places that go to that high of prescription but to no avail. I am currently wearing d and a toric lenses. £26 a month for 1 pair of lenses. But they give me lenses which are only +6.0 in each eye. They said I will get used to them but to be honest I do struggle and would love contacts that meet my prescription.
many thanks
