If you had operated under the protection of a LTD Co then would you have taken the hit personally?
so you wouldnt buy a bargain car in a private deal off a discharged BR?.....
as for my woes, yes, if id been a ltd company i would have had the cowards option, to dump on others the way i was dumped on, no-one i dealt with suffered loss, apart from a few banks and credit card companies, im an ordinary working (ex now) bloke and some of the suppliers i used (in fact most) were too, I now have mates who trust me, and who i can call on for a favour should i need one, HSBC wouldnt do fook all for me if id paid them, besides which, 1 or 2 were also bigger than me!0 -
and again mr captain, how do you credit check a new ltd company?
you cant0 -

what do you think HPi means?.......0 -

Better you check yourself - no finance but the "owner" is fresh bankrupt and the OR hasn't managed to lift it yet.

and when the "bad director" has a "face" running the show you reckon you can still sniff em out?
i bet not, the "face" or "frontman" runs it all for the "bad boy"......

Probably not unless I could guarantee good title. Why would it be a bargain unless the BR was trying to hide the asset from the OR/Creditors?
Ltd is not a cowards option - at best it protects honest people from getting the hit when things go wrong, at worst it allows easy rip offs.
I was always told that there are no friends in business - perhaps they meant never have business dealings with friends. The guys who worked for me all got 100% of their outstanding money - perhaps if they had been friends they would have defered a couple of weeks salary each, it would have been enough to prevent C&E taking me to the cleaners -0 -
at last we agree.......

but then if i had been a ltd company and dumped on my suppliers wouldnt that be a) a rip off by me or b) an extended rip off by those ripping me off? where does the buck stop?....
i took responsibility for my supplier debts and (99%) of it got paid, im GLAD to say the little guys didnt suffer, even though THEY didnt credit check ME before working for me, even though i would have passed!0 -

dont tell him your name pike!
I had a house and a 100K's worth of plant, I lost neither.
I was mid 20's and after 3 years (not 6 months/ 1 year as now) I had saved up enough to pay my two creditors and got annulled from inception and struck off.
A few years down the line I have no mortgage, 1 house and two flats and reasonable savings because the whole experience was shameful and I didn't intend to go through it without gaining something from it.0 -
