Hi redrichie, i had the same problem as you new build apartment block noisy neighbour above us. Her idea of fun was playing whitney houston at 430am over and over again so loud the block shook!
We rent so dont know where you would stand having bought the apartment, but after putting up with this for 3 months my OH went and knocked on her door asking her to be quiet. She laughed and turned it up! My OH then got his phone and recorded the noise (you can do this if your phone has a camera). We gave this evidence to the landlord who then told us he had being trying to evict her for the past 6 months but had no proof! He got a court order against her for noise violation as the time is recorded on the phone. She moved out 3 weeks ago and all the block had a bbq (including the landlord!)
My advice is get it recorded and take it to the managing agent.hopefully things will work out 4 u.0 -
nice one, but put the notice up again and again and again.
I live in a hastily built just after the war block of flats, no soundproofing at all, what makes it worse is i have Muslims above me who won't have carpet in there kitchen, hallway or living room, so you can hear everything, especially when i am in bed at night, when for some reason they like to do their diy...
Can I ask what the relevence of the religion is to what you are saying?nothing to see here, move along...0
