You REALLY need to start reading and stop asking all the questions. Just about every answer has been covered many times before. You chose to go for the deal with the devil - there are innumerable warnings about so doing unless you really know what you're doing. You can't go into these deals like this - I really DO keep warning people (have been doing so for over a year now).

I recommend you NOW spend the time you SHOULD have invested BEFORE doing this to sort out how it all works. Or cancel now, as Quentin advises. You pays your money and takes your chances - perhaps (at least) SOME other people MIGHT learn from the confusion you now find yourself in and avoid ending up in the same position. Your questions would then help all the others who haven't done their research understand that these deals are not to be taken lightly.

But from the documents i have referenced above, if it is the 6th bill, 6 months after my purchase,

After november 12th, I send them my '12th october - 12th november' bill right?

anyone thats done a cashback, your confirmation will be greatly appriciated

It doesn't matter what anyone tells you verbally you need it in writing from E2save. E2save don't want to pay you so they will resist telling your in writing now they have made the sale.

I always email and ask my questions before purchase when doing cashback. I then have it in writing and over 5 years I've never had a problem. I've never used E2save because I don't like their vagueness and a couple of work colleagues had problems with automatic cashback. It's cheap for a reason, it's risky. You have to weigh that up before buying.

i've just read from someone that o2 bills are numbers on the top right hand side corner.

will the 6th bill be the correct bill?

You may well find THAT link doesn't work - didn't last time I tried it. This is extremely basic; if nothing else you MUST follow the groundrules which I set out last September. It is much harder to sort things out later. The groundrules start LONG BEFORE YOU ORDER - so you have already broken many crucial ones. From the number of questions you ask it's plain you really have rushed in unwisely. I do consistently advise people NOT to do ANY cashback deals without a great deal of research and understanding. They work well enough IF you know exactly what you're doing. In the case of this lot, the history is also extremely relevant and important to understanding what you're doing. However, the history is complicated now and not very many people really understand much of it - which leads to more confusion and problems. If you care to do some reading of any note you will see that time and again people who HAVE been doing deals successfully for YEARS with this company started running into all sorts of problems during the last year. Many of these experienced people forgot the groundrules, relying on their own past experience - but few really know what's been going on there (my own knowledge is limited but far more than most simply because I have done SO many deals AND follow everything closely several times a day - and have been for years now. I doubt many can say that). E2Save has evolved at an ever increasing pace for some time now - and not for the better. ALL cashback deals are DESIGNED to ensure most people FAIL to get their money. THAT is the fundamental principle - so people simply assuming they follow instructions from the company (which are WRONG more often than not) are merely stacking ALL the odds against themselves. There are no shortcuts to LOTS of research and care. All the questions in the world are no substitute for that.

I would also add that the research should not JUST be about this comany - although there are now DOZENS of threads on it - but cashback deals and tricks in general. That is why I don't only read a LOT about the companies I deal with. That is also why I know so much about things - and rarely get much wrong. Anyone prepared to put even a fraction of the time into it that I have devoted will be in a much better position to succeed - but there simply is no substitute for really knowing what you're doing, following ALL the groundrules AND having back-up plans. Even today I generally follow all my own groundrules - simply because you MUST if you want your cashback! It's also the reason a good many (often experienced) people have by now realised that what I say is highly likely to be much more reliable than the guff this lot give out.

I stand by something on my thread:- this a game with real money (yours) and a stacked deck (theirs). Of course, if you feel lucky...! Lol!

Personally I enjoy getting something for nothing - but never assumed I simply would. I don't like or expect to lose money - and have made immense savings in all sorts of ways from these deals. For example, my land line bill ONLY has rental - I never use it for anything other than freephone calls - haven't for two years. I've also picked up free internet use at times, dozens of free phones (which have other uses too) and guided a number of friends through the same process. Quite honestly, they would still be floundering on their own despite having now taken out several contracts with my help. On the (very) rare occasions they have failed to take my advice (twice as I recall) they have sometimes got into got into trouble (once). Even with my advice and help it's not always a competley smooth ride - but generally is and I can rescue them on the odd occassion when things have gone wrong. In the scheme of things they all all more than happy though - as am I. It's a hobby with me - and a serious one. If you aren't prepared to treat if with care, respect and quite a lot of time then you are unwise to go it alone - unless the potential loss of the cashback is offset by what you are already spending.

You would probably be better off cancelling this and then getting it online + quidco.
The key thing would be you'd have what you signed up to in writing.

thanks for everyones comments and advice, i really appriciate it.

i've called the help line twice today to double check the dates and they have said that i should be sending my oct-nov bill for the first cashback. This seems valid and concurs with quentin's assumption.

i have also sent a email to the mycashbackclaim.co.uk, hopefully i will get something in writing.

if anyone else is confused about their dates, the number i called is 01509610888

i seem more comfortable now that i know my dates. i will keep you guys up to date whether i get my cash back or not.

any other advice would be appriciated still.

    kind regards,

    toothy

does anyone have e2save's email address by any chance? or do they not reply?
