    Morning all
Dusty your day sounds awful - just like mine yesterday. Why can't life be simple?
Right washing is all done and drying, DW on and I'm off to the bank and the shops. Just waiting for DH to drive me. Its agony with my knee.
Will do some flying when I get back.

Welcome cMathews and Bellie and anyone else I have missed!
I'm in again, really got to get to grips with this house! How often do I say that? Well I'm off on holiday on the 24th during half term week, so I need to get the house straight because of my parents coming in (and my SiL) and feeding the cats/possibly nosing in all my hidy holes lol. So I have to be ruthless and get rid of stuff and organize the rest.

Hugs to you Dustykitten, sounds like you need it after a morning like that already!

I'm already ahead of myself as yesterday I did the worktops, sorted a whole double doored cupboard out and cleaned out the grungy WM compartment. Right, off to the kitchen!

Johanne the house selling section on here can be good for advice etc, with the market slowing down they may suggest renting it out for now etc. Good luck!

God i wish we could rent it out or even live there (when was just me and him i lived there for a while till i got here and it wasnt easy!) Its a disgrace and doubt anyone will even buy it. It has:
    • No heating except old fashioned gas fire in living room
    • Old wooden window frames which are rotten - back bedroom and kitchen ones are loose and close to falling out and the glass doesnt fit properly
    • Leaky roof where flashing on chimneys gone which leaks into main bedroom
    • Mouldy plasterboard for a ceiling in kitchen as we had to replace the ceiling cos of a leaky roof in there - but leak wasnt fixed like we thought so it leaked again and ruined new ceiling before even finished.. you have to step over the pans and buckets collecting the rain to get to the kitchen sink
    • The walls in the kitchen are bare plaster, the floor is only half tiled
    • The bathroom is avacado green.. suite and tiles
    • The bathroom tiles behind the shower are bowing, looks like theres damp in that wall
    • The bathroom ceiling is half missing - again through leaky roof
    • The toilet is broken - the actual bowl is cracked all way up and wobbles - it also leaks at the back all over the floor
    • Loft door is bust and hangin down, and the landing is only half painted
    • The main bedroom has the leaky ceiling as mentioned above, a small hole in ceiling where it leaks and cracks all over the ceiling and walls - made worse when a car exploded down the road.. so worry its the walls that are unsafe not just the plaster cracking. Black mould keeps appearing on wall under window from condensation running down from windows.
    • The wall in the back bedroom has damp where window frame is rotten and glass doesnt fit properly so weather has gotten in - so walls are all mouldy.
Can you see why we couldnt move there with baby? :rotfl: We'd be lucky to GIVE it away... nevermind sell it :o:o
