Hasnt worked too great though and now really cant concentrate on uni work and once again my stupid OU tutor hasnt got back to me about an extension i asked for (which is what happened last time and i ended up not handing it in and settling for a subsitute) Infact im still waiting to hear back from him about THAT extension and to pass me the notes from the tutorials i asked him for weeks before then... cant even complain about him because theres no other tutors in my area i can swap to i think?!
johanne, in with all the bumph you got from the OU you should have info about your Regional Office. Contact the Student Services for your region and tell them about the problems you are having. Also log on to your course forum and see if any other students would be willing to pass on their tutorial notes.

    Hi
Have been lurking on this thread and can see that it totally makes sense to have a routine and then all the house stuff will not become a 48 hr event which is what normally happens. However I have some questions -
    a) I live with the most untidy man in Europe, maybe even the world - anyone else noticed the routine helping?
    b) Wooden floors - we have original sanded and varnished floors throughout down stairs, no matter what I use there always seems to be streaks - any tips?
Thanks and mark me up for this week as first formal attempt

    RMC

PS Anyone else spend too much time here/ebay instead of doing housework - I am off sick at the minute and have ZERO energy (7 weeks now) but also feel I need to do more than read posts!!

Johanne if you are not physically attending tutorials there shouldn't I don't think be an issue in you having any other tutor in the country, have a rant at your regional centre. I am sort of lucky, the 2 courses we're doing now don't have tutorials, they email some notes if necessary.

RMC - your partner has a twin, yes routine helps as does putting bins where they regularly dump rubbish, a basket they can dump their things in (and you can dump them in when you are tidying) preferably with a lid so you can ignore it, washing baskets help but they seem to forget where it is. Best thing I did for mine is getting a house with a garage, so I can just throw most of his crap in there. Floor streaks, I haven't a clue, as long as mine are clean I don't care :o maybe someone else can advise on that bit.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Raph - how's the dog?

Dog is sulking & not speaking to mum & step-dad :rotfl:but other than that she's ok.
Not heard results of tests yet, shouldn't be long now.

Just got back in from poker (cycled there & back with no lights on the bike! Naughty me!) and taken dog out for a nice cool walk. Why, when you walk into a spiders web, does it always hit you in the face? I was got twice on the walk! Heading to bed soon as up at 4.30 for work!!

I'm in again this week, I need to add two things to my list for tomorrow...
    1. Ring Vets to book Shadows booster appointment
    2. Wash bathroom door down. It is sooooo manky! I feel ashamed every time I have to look at it when I'm on the loo!

Hopefully I can get the oven door off tomorrow, the oven was new last year and I've not managed to click the hinge catches up to take it off yet. One has loosened, but t'other is stuck fast. Any suggestions  I've tried a squirt of WD40

    Hi there everyone!!

Been MIA the past couple of weeks due to holidays :)

Looks like I've missed a couple of births ... Johanne's and Michelle's ... what / how / stats / all ok? A big congratulations all around!

So, now we're back and a) the house and b) the garden need tackling.

The good news is I've done all the holiday washing, the bad news is ... it's glaring at me from the ironing basket, even though I've put it in the sewing room!

Glad it's the kitchen tomorrow, as that's looking pretty ok, bar the floor, which has mud on it, due to the family spending the day digging for treasure in the garden (found a shuttlecock, does that count!)

Tonight, I'm going to post PigPen's list, and then I'll add my dailies.... right, here goes...

HHE/HHC/HHI Half Hour exercise/challenge/ironing ... run around for 30 minutes to the Benny Hill music frantically cleaning exercising or ironing.. other music may be used if you prefer!

    5GC
five minutes gardening.. make it lovely for your spring flowers and sowing (5 mins will not lovely it make, but given the weather I shall "forsake" my gym time and go out there, LOL)
