    Danfx,

pay by Cheque or postal order or better still in cash over the counter. They can't take more then.

Good luck with all- your post made me smile.

I'm with great universal, who have just been taken over by littlewoods. Have had nothing but problems with them since then too! Apparently they've changed their cashback terms and conditions too and they've diddled me out of the cashback on about £600 worth of stuff. I've been complaining until I'm blue in the face but no-one would reply. So I googled their chief exec and wrote to him instead. Still no reply, but I've had an acknowledgement this time, so at least I know it's not lost in their post room somewhere lol.

Effectively the agreement we have with the catalogue is like a loan so it's covered by the Financial Ombudsman Services for the things we've all been listing here. If you complain to the catalogue, and make it clear it's a complaint, they should give you the right to go to the Ombudsman when they give their final reply. Might not be any more helpful than asking watchdog to get involved, but any port in a storm and all that.

well that's a bit of good news, but then you have the same next time payment is due, it is so bad because people want to pay their debts, but companies like these are making it impossible,

Ive been with Littlewoods for a while but this month I made a payment for £25.92 (confirmed the same amount paid shows on my bank statement) but on my littlewoods statement it says thank you for your payment of £23.92. Have contacted them and awaiting a response.

Watch them - I will in future.
