Help I have been ripped off by seller

Just a happy note on this topic.
I looked thru the sellers feedback to see if anyone else had bought one of these white faux fur capes to see how long theirs took to be delivered.
A very kind lady called Kirstn Voss replied saying hers took 2 weeks. However she had since decided she didnt want it and for the cost of postage she would let me have her cape.
So despite that horrible mans attempt at sabotaging my daughters wedding outfit kindeness won thru and I now have Kirstin's cape.
Best wishes to you all0 -
yippeeeeeesmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

Just when I thought everything was ok that pig of a man has left negative feedback on my record saying
"SCAM - asks for money back after she has received goods"
So bang goes my 100% good record. To say I am bouncing is an understatement. I have filed a complaint about it with ebay but I dont suppose anything can be done. I feel like emailing him and giving hm a piece of my mind. Any ideas???0 -
LInda I have sent you a PM.
However, don't lower yourself to his level, he's the one at fault so make sure any feedback response reflects that. Don;t respond to the neg yet, keep on at ebay to try and get it removed first as it is obviously false and they can tell that when they realise paypal gave you a refund (I assume you did you get the refund?)
The seller already has the most appalling feedback, I doubt whether he will get serious bidders anymore so he is probably hopping mad, definitely don't contact him again.
If I remember correctly you haven't already left him feedback have you? Hold off for a while, see if ebay will remove his first. When you do leave him a neg make it 'punchy' keep it calm and measured but let people know he is trouble.

I have sent you a PM. I left him Negative feedback as soon as I read mine as I was so angry but all I said was I did not receive goods - read sellers neg. feedback and I also replied to his feedback on my page saying Did not receive goods. My past feedback says it all"
Best wishes

Hi
First post, after admiring the site from a safe distance.
Am afraid i appear to ave been scammed after not receiving the good (jeans) i paid for and am now wondering what to do.
The bloke who i bought off apears to be conveniently ignoring me - he's even used the oh sorry i have been ill and will post them in a few days. That was at least 3 weeks ago!
Anyway, being relatively new to the whole ebay escapade, i did the basics like checking his feedback, whcih was good. Although i didnt use paypal bcos he charged and so sent a cheque. I feel i dont have any comeback on this, which is extremely frustrating bcos it's in effect theft in my book. I've sent him subsequent emails asking for money back if he cant deliver the jeans, heard nothing back
Anyway, rant done, hope someone can offer some advice.
Thanks0 -
Hi and welcome DonkeyKong77
Sorry to hear about your problem on eBay. The first thing you can do is look up the sellers contact information here:
http://!!!!!!.com/56hzo
Next, you can report the seller to eBay here:
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/contact_inline/index.html
Go to Report transaction problems --> Problems with sellers --> You paid but did not receicve the item and click on continue then Email.
What was the sellers ID?
Hope you can get it sorted soon.
JoshThe main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing:)0 -
Thanks Josh
Whilst trying to find the sellers ID, i now find that he is no longer a registered user. I dont know exactly what this eans, but i know it doen't sound good!
Hopefully ebay will try and solve it but somehow reading some comments on here, there customer service seems just as dodgy.
Can't believe some people are just out there to rip others off, partly my fault for paying by cheque, and if i used paypal i may have more of a comeback, but what an a*******0 -

If the seller has been NARU'd (not a registered user) it doesn't sound good I'm afraid. Did he suddenly aquire a run of negs or something.
He could also have been NARUd if he had invalid contact details or if he just unregistered his account voluntarily.
The bad news is that ebay are almost certainly not going to be able to do anything, all they would normally do if a seller turns 'bad' is to warn that seller that their account is at risk, and of course if the seller is already NARUd that threat won;t work!
You could try pulling his contact details as has been suggested and give him a call, you could also try contacting your bank ASAP to see if they can do anything, although I am almost completely sure they won't be able to help.

I have been contacted by a few people who have been ripped off by the seller dueheeboy and it appears he is a mexican operating from California although he says his goods come from UK (Tax fiddle)
He posts things after 28 days so that you cannot claim on him. He sends abusive negative feedback when that is against the feedback rules and he buys positive feedback to make his history look good. What a nice man.
Well its my daughters wedding on Saturday so I am going to put this at the back of my mind for now but I'LL BE BACK so look out duheeboy. You have picked on the wrong person this time.0
