What do you class as abuse. I use about £10 worth of mocs every shop and roughly pay about £2 for it. I do this appx 4 times per week. Do you think that is too much as I woudlnt like to think I was abusing it or get banned.
I would appreciate anyones advice on this.
Oh, no you havent seen some of my shops, esp the start of the yr, I use to about £50 + coupons on a shop, at the time ther was a lot floating around cheaply on ebay, think it was from the good food show. Im known at our local store as the mad coupon woman (I had fist fulls).
Usually it the same staff on, and we have a natter, and apparently at the self scan tills they use to find out of date vouchers, vouchers that were Asda or somerfield only, they have a rough idea of tracking the vouchers back to a card or person, but hense now why our local store now has to call someone else to put the vouchers through
Re the abuse, thats the angle I meant. I say thank god for vouchers, dd, (be 6 this yr), wants to go out for xmas lunch again, at we did it last yr,(paid for from mutual points money) meant as a treat becoz she had started school, (admitadly it was 10/10, not having to cook, or wash up, but the bill......... 3 adults, 1 child, taxi each way, few drinks, bottle wine, not much change out of £200), so family discussion and we all agreed if we could get enuf money back from vouchers pay 4 lunch). So far upto £350.00 clear profit.:T Rest of the yr carry on saving it, and end up 4 xmas. x
xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

The problems you have been having seem to be answered by something you said in an earlier post. I gather you were using the same pc you had already printed from, to try to print some more couponnet/couponstar ones?
You can't do that as couponnet printer software knows that your pc has already had the coupons. Even if you use a different email addy & address.
The only realistic and easy way round it is to do what R4pture does and go & use friends & relatives' pcs. Or go to a library with lots of pcs, if they'll let you print from Couponnet.
I think the system CAN be circumvented to make couponnet forget your pc details (I know one or two people on here have done so successfully) but I don't know how as I am not techy enough. It's not as simple as just clearing your cookies or anything easy AFAIK.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Don't worry, abuse does not include using 'too many' coupons (unless, for instance, your store has specifically told you they don't accept internet prints and you persist in slipping them in with your coupons).
If I had been told of an internet print restriction in a store from a Manager who KNEW what he was talking about (not a cashier) then I would stick to that limit in that store, or I would go elsewhere. If I was told of any new restriction by a cashier I would ask to get clarification from a Manager.
You won't get a ban or points taken away if you are staying within Tesco coupon policy. The policy DOES allow you to pay for your whole shopping in coupons, there is no 10% rule (but with internet ones stores DO have discretion and in some dodgy inner-City areas some stores won't allow any coupons without buying the product as abuse can be rife in certain stores).
'Abuse' of the coupon policy would include:
a. Using out of date coupons.
b. Using Somerfield/Sains/Asda or other store coupons (for money off a product).
c. Using duplicates when you have not bought the item.
d. Visiting the same store twice in a day or splitting your transaction when you are a single customer (i.e. not sticking to the one-of-each-per-day coupon policy).
e. Trying to use Daily Mail book tokens (we all know the last one was blocked so clearly these are NOT to be tried at all any more. Hopefully T will be quick to block each one each month).
Just my opinion, FWIW I use hundreds of coupons each week without problems now.

Ok well this bit I didnt know as I normally split my shopping into two bundles and do two seperate transactions. So this is a no no I gather. Where do you get the rules and guidelines of the policy as tesco customer services did not give me a copy of this when I asked them about their coupon policy

Good question.
I wouldn't worry about it if I were you, I split mine into however many I want - 2, 3 or even 4. No-one has ever said a dicky-bird about it. How I choose to put my stuff thru is up to me, where's the rule that says I can't?0 -
I nearly threw away the soliel moc's till I read on here that they have 'value'. I was absolutely thrilled when they worked!!
Went to an expresss last night and SA wouldn't take any vouchers unless I bought the goods. She asked other SA what she thought and both agreed, I said Mr T's have always took 1 voucher without buying the goods but neither of them would move. Felt a right idiot as there was a queue!!!!!
Thanks for the new thread, really helpful. I'm still a bit new to this so haven't posted much but 'will try harder' (I haven't changed much since I was at school!!!!)
:j :jNot sure if this will happen to me again but in one Tesco today they said they will no longer accept mocs if they look like they have been printed off the internet. Hope its a one off at that store!
