I use the argument that when you photocopy moc the watermark that appears over the money off bit does not print, hence if the watermark is there, it is an original coupon.
I've had probs in our local Tesco, who may or may not accept the coupons. Tried ASDA yesterday and was told they do not accept internet coupons.
Wouldn't even accept the ones I received from Dove,

That store is wrong, but lots of Asda stores still say this from what I have read on here and other forums. They need dragging into the 21st Century IMHO, most coupons will be internet prints in the future I am sure.

I would report the store to their HO and ask HO to ring the store to advise them that Asda DO indeed accept internet coupons. HO know that they do, it's just the stores that need telling!

Yes, we do have a local TESCO as well, and usually shopping at TESCO by use the SS till. But MY OH has problems with them as well few days ago (Dont know why he always soooooo unlucky, he only used coupons two or three times in the past few months but all end in troubles). After he put only one of the mag coupons into the slot the SA didnt press the precious button but came to him and took three of the coupons that he still held in hand and went to the managers/superviosers. The first one he said has no idea about the coupon policy, so my OH told him the policies, then he was kicked to another manager/supervioser who didnt say they dont accept the coupons but said he thought the coupons may copied one (its actaully color print one) because he thought the color was not right (he pointed the blue 'safe coupon' image) and then run away immediately. So in that case I dont know how I can argue with them, they can always use this as an excuse to refuse accept the coupons.

Never use the self-scan if you want to use a handful of coupons; they will assume you are trying to rip them off (because on the SS, people do!).

Just go to Tesco, choose a normal till and hand over your coupons (all non-store specific, in date and all different).

If you get a problem then ask them to refer it to a Till manager as you know the policy is one of each.

If you still get problems then follow the info I gave in a previous post, a few posts back, about how I got a result in a coupon-hating South of England store by finally writing to the Store manager (not worded as a complaint but as a letter confirming the coupon policy).

    Hi all

Regarding the Schloer coupon, I have been into tesco and the system is not accepting this coupon. Not sure why. I work for them and went to an assistant who uses coupons and she tried everything, it just won't take it. sorry guys

Did it few times at the begining, but they only took few non-internet print out coupons and only allowed me to use one or two internet one and said that is their store rule. Lazy to argue with them at that moment, so try to use the SS till and find no problems for me, so told my OH to use it as well. Maybe should try it next time. (But I usually shopping at the middle ninght cause I finished work quite late, and the CS desk had closed and the till person usually told me the manager had off duty.) My OH usually can shopping at day time, but he is the person hardly to argue anything at all. Did thought ask him to ask the store manager for the coupon policies, but worried he may ruining all the things.:o
