I decided to take the plunge and try to use some MOCs at Tesco Eaglescliffe today. I gave the cashier one of the £2.40 off magazine ones, she checked it over, and then scanned it. I tried to give her one for Hovis (neither items actually purchased) and she said I couldn't use it as I hadn't bought it. I challenged and said I thought they accepted them if they sold it. She replied its the store managers discretion (as previously posted on here), and then cancelled the £2.40 one she had already accepted!

So a total no-go for using coupons at the Eaglescliffe branch. :naughty:
I tried here a few weeks ago, and was told the same thing :(

I would have asked her if she was the manager
When she replied no I would have asked to speak to the store manager and then politelt ask him his personal policy on coupons and direct him to Tescos coupon policy. (in fact I did this in Nottingham and now I get very little problems redeeming my coupons)

    Hi

Can someone tell me please how to get pdf coupon documents into word or photo editor so I can put more onto a page.

You can right click the item in a pdf and select "copy" then simply paste into word and reduce it to whatever size you like. I usually find a max of 2 per page otherwise the barcode becomes too small to scan.

If you go through the SS tills can you get away with it? I know it kicks up for validation if the coupon is more than a percentage of the outstanding total. If that didn't affect it could we still use the coupons even though the store is anti-coupon?
