They wouldn't accept any apart from the NOTW one. Then when I showed them the piece of paper with the coupon rules on, they said that Head Office didn't know what they were talking about
Wouldn't mind normally, but Tesco is a 20 mile round journey for me, and I made a special trip because I had the coupons, so am feeling pretty anoyed now.Debts May 09 [strike]£100 Od[/strike], [strike]£1550 boiler[/strike], [strike]£1750[/strike] £400 credit card  Goal - to 3k of savings by Oct 2009 in time for Baby num 2 :j Total so far £12000 -

However - at the risk of sounding like an uber-b*tch - I am worried about the constant emailing of customer services. If we look back over the thread we can see it is a daily occurence, and that is just the people that post!
Tesco already have a generic response - it is posted throughout the thread - this is all you are going to get from them. And we also have the policy document on the first page. Copy these and carry them with you.
I am worried the more we hassle tesco the stricter the policy will become and we will all miss out.
I know it sucks when you get vouchers turned down - I've been there! It hurts! But it is the MANAGERS DISCRETION and that is it. Taking an arguement with them or trying to overrule them telling them how to do their job is never going to work. I now know what stores I can and cant use and it is a question of trial and error.
I don't want to clash with anyone on this but I think we need to try and cause as little coupon fuss as possible!:A
I understand what you're saying, I'm just mega annoyed right now.
It just seems stupid how they don't have a consistant policy throughout all the storesDebts May 09 [strike]£100 Od[/strike], [strike]£1550 boiler[/strike], [strike]£1750[/strike] £400 credit card  Goal - to 3k of savings by Oct 2009 in time for Baby num 2 :j Total so far £12000 -

Can anyone advise? Thanks in advance all!
Hi
Not sure about Accringtonusually it's spend £10 and you can use £1 off, spend £20 you can use £2 off in coupons, and so on
Hi-Some time ago, a kind person printed out a clearer version of the Marie Claire token on Rapidshare, which was great- my problem is...despite scrolling through several pages, I can`t find it now! Sorry- is it at all possible, please, for someone to do it again, or tell me where it is, please? (ducks down behind sofa):D
I googled it, and it's on page 51 of this thread

I went to my local tesco on Sunday armed with over £40 worth of MOC`s not intending to use them all in a single shop of course, and decided to approach CS on entering the store to ask what their policy was on MOC`s, was told that if the SA scans them then they will be considered as accepted>>
i reitterated this to the sa when i approached the checkout and each and each and every 1 of them scanned.. so all in all i did a £94 shop, handed in £21 pounds worth of MOC`s and also a £5 NOTW... so £94 worth of shopping cost me just over £67... I left with a smile on my face :T
The next time i go in, i am just going to use the same story again to the SA,...................... If they scan then they are considered accepted...It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.0 -
Thanks x_Bunny_x , much appreciated-it`s good to have some larger value MOC`s- I seem to have less trouble with those, than several smaller ones!0

tesco new policy will take coupons to the value of 20% on total shop as long as they stock the item. :rolleyes:0

Has anyone managed to use random vouchers for mobile payg topups?tesco new policy will take coupons to the value of 20% on total shop as long as they stock the item.
It seems to vary from store to store I did 2 small shops in Tesco today using different tills the first was good reducing a £4.78 bill down to 8p the second said not unless u buy it so I pointed out policy and he reluctantly took 2 vouchers which took £4.98 down to £3.12 ... every little helps.0
