Love the name.
I have read the Tesco coupon policy but went there today and they refuse the Marie Claire and Daily Mail book token even though I checked that they were sold there - yes.
They were very difficult about it and did not beleive that I had read the policy on this site
I am new to coupons and found it all very embarrassing especially being virtually called a liar
Have you had any trouble like this?
Unfortuately most my store will no longer taken newspaper vouchers at all and the Daily Mail ones they have definately stopped. Just remember every store has a different policy and if you do question it, always be polite and if they say no, say thankyou.
Good luckThere is no need to run outside

Nor to peer from a window.
Rather abide at the center of your being.

I've never tried the DM coupon, but have had problems with the Marie Claire one before. Ranging from 'can't use this unless you buy it' to 'we can't accept this one because its for £2.20' to 'it says you have to buy the product so I can't accept it'.
Just stick it out and keep trying and questioning them when they refuse one. I used about £7 of coupons at the Tesco Opticians today, then another £4 at the main checkout. It all depends on who you get and what mood they are in.0 -

This is why I checked the stockists before I printed it. I have been kind to a friend though and picked up the puppy food and will be giving it to her for her new pup.:A0 -

I love my coupons and I know everyone else does. I can understand why lots of people are wanting to get on the bandwagon.
However - at the risk of sounding like an uber-b*tch - I am worried about the constant emailing of customer services. If we look back over the thread we can see it is a daily occurence, and that is just the people that post!
Tesco already have a generic response - it is posted throughout the thread - this is all you are going to get from them. And we also have the policy document on the first page. Copy these and carry them with you.
I am worried the more we hassle tesco the stricter the policy will become and we will all miss out.
I know it sucks when you get vouchers turned down - I've been there! It hurts! But it is the MANAGERS DISCRETION and that is it. Taking an arguement with them or trying to overrule them telling them how to do their job is never going to work. I now know what stores I can and cant use and it is a question of trial and error.
I don't want to clash with anyone on this but I think we need to try and cause as little coupon fuss as possible!:AI miss using my infinite coupons at Tesco!
2010 was the worst year ever
But 2011 so far has been a lot of fun! :j
