Hopefully we'll all be able to have more access to biodiesel when these sort of forward looking companies come online.......Take a look at this site: http://www.biofuelscorp.com/0

A warning. I tried vegetable oil in my car and it ran really badly for a few minutes before conking out completely! I've got a feeling this is only meant for diesel cars, not petrol ones. Can I help?0

I have just bought a vw diesel polo saloon, s regd.........and decided to have a go running on a mix of diesel and veg oil... I go to morrisons once a week put in £20 worth of normal diesel then head round the back to the recycling and put in 18 litres (six 3 litre containers) of veg oil and recycle the plastic....the veg oil costs £1.47 for 3 litres.........my car runs perfect with absolutely no difference at all.......... i can recommend this to anyone, although i don't know if i would be brave enough to run completely on veg oil, but a mix of about 50/50 is great......julie :T0

You're better off not going over 50/50 you could take it up to 70/30 and still be ok, but leave that for the warmer weather.
You should also consider paying the taxman for a few of those litres, they don't know how much you actually use, but atleast if you tell them you've used (or intend to use) X amount, and pay the duty 47p (ish) per litre. Then they can't touch you and confiscate your car when plod pulls you over for driving on oil.
Also why pay for the oil? you can use FREE oil from chip shops, just pass it through a fine filter beforehand.0 -

Looking at the feedback score, and the fact that it is kept private lends a small amount of doubt into the quality of this product.
Of course it may be feedback for other products which they have sold, but since it is PRIVATE there is no way of telling.
Have you used this before?
If not I think I'll wait for you to try some, and report back first.
I've also noticed that despite this thread being around for 12 months, there is very little interest in the subject. You'd think with all of the Diesel owners on here that it would be in the high hundreds by now. I think proof enough that although people love whinging about fuel prices from time to time, in essence they are more than happy to pay over the odds for it, even when a much cheaper alternative is available!.0 -
i'll keep you posted,i have used UCOME biodiesel with excellent result's for over a year but my supplier dried up.0
