I had 12 till spits yesterday and Preston Fishergate are clean out of everything TD under £5.
Went to St Helens Ravenhead Retail Park on the way home.... and what did I find? MEN'S TIME DELAY!!!:j They're on the men's skincare aisle on the bottom shelf. There were only two of the range under a fiver - the aftershave balm and face wash. Thought it would be OTT to use all 12 TS (just in case other TD stuff comes back in stock before Tuesday), so I just gt 4 of each.

Of course, the till beeped, so the SA consulted the Manager and hey presto.. till overide - free stuff - Yey!!!!

I too, would like to know the answer to this one! It`s a lot of money to spend,if hardly worn-do they look `odd` at all? had read somewhere that they can be quite big, & there`s no half sizes-so,as I`m a size 6, (or 5 1/2), do I need to get a 5? Any feedback would be much appreciated, thanks.

I've not got mum to try them out yet but I popped hers on and we're both size 5 n 1/2 and size 6 fit us both fine. HTH :D

    TD Mens

They stock this in liverpool st station but the SA flat out refused to override the till with my till spit! She goes "it doesn't work with these". I did say that the till spit doesn't say it has to be womens TD but she wouldn't listen :S Was in a rush so couldn't be bothered to call the manager! Some SA's hey!

    Palmolive

Has the palmolive glitch stopped working? Every time I put the code in it says 'missed offer'? weird!

There was a sign in Boots saying it's Estee Lauder bonus time. You get a free gift with purchase of two items -- it's a pale green bag with (if I recall) blusher, various creams, mascara and a purse-sized Pleasures.

I checked online, and there's no gift but there is 750 points if you buy two Estee Lauder items -- and the eye pencil sharpeners are in. I fooled around with it (even though I probably won't order any), and I couldn't find a way to add the sharpeners to my basket. Any time I clicked on "more info", it took me to the Estee Lauder page and I couldn't find the sharpeners anywhere.

You can most definitely buy stamps in boots, but only in the books and depends on their availability and both 1st and 2nd class.

    Do your earn points? TIA

    Hi Clare,

I feel so sorry for you over this palava with the TD hand cream- you don't seem to be having much luck with Bootsing recently

Clare, when you spoke to CS did they say they would contact the store you had problems with to advise them of their mistake? And also, did they definitely confirm the till spit can be used on the hand cream legitimately lolol I haven't got any till spits left now but if I know CS say its ok, I may try to find an unwanted spit laying about and have another try :rotfl:

Hi, Tiara, thanks for the sympathy - at least a good thing has come out of my handcream fiasco, and that's that I've been reminded again what lovely lot you Bootsing ladies are.

Yes, CS said they would contact the store. Didn't actually get a definitive answer as to whether the till spits should work with handcream, LOL, but she said the SA should scan them and let them go through if the till doesn't beep. If you do find any more till spits, I would try them and say your friend has been advised by CS that the SA should scan the handcream and see if it goes through.I think we can all be quite firm on our entitlement here on this one now!!

Thanks goodness I won't be trying to use the half price sunglasses voucher what could go wrong with that one, I wonder?!:rotfl:
