icheekymonkey ~ I don't know how to quote from the closed thread, I remembered seeing you wanted some reduced Sally Hansen lip gloss, not sure if it was a specific one you wanted..anyway was in Ethel Austin today and they had Sally Hansen 18 hour lipgloss in a pale browny neutral shade for 50p , picked you one up just in case you wanted it ? Pm and let me know. This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M. Hutchins0

I had a great shop today in Falkirk. Managed to use 2 till spits, they have loads of TD stuff left including wipes, sadly not the gradual face tan which I wish I'd got when I first saw it. Still have quite a few left to use and I have at least two peoples Xmas hamper sorted.0

Hi,
Sadly no reduced sun block in my boots! but wanted advice on which facial sun lotion to buy.
I looked in Boots yesterday and I was torn between the soltan once (spf 25 I think. Can't find link on .com) or the No7 Anti Ageing Anti-Dark Spot Facial Sun Protection (spf 50)
http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1082200&classificationid=1009326
I want something with a high SPF because I don't like to tan (I have freckles which I know will turn into large, dark spots in time) but the "expert" in store told me to go for the Soltan one because you only need one application every 6 hours. I also wanted something I could wear under make up so maybe the Soltan once is the best one to go for...?
Also, what would be more cost effective? Is there much difference in the ones you put on your face or could I get away with buying a big bottle and using it on my face too?
Thanks in advance (and sorry for the waffling!)
Hi, Darkangel
I like the clinique city block. I have the spf 40 for the summer, since I have very light skin. I like this one because it is not oily at all and it kinda of looks like a foundation because it is brown (though it is colourless). But because it is dry, you can apply foundation and make-up on top. I don't use either, but the fact that it does not shine as other suncreens I find it really good. And it is £13.50, so not much more expensive than the boots ones.0 -

I started the year by spending £120 worth of points in the 75% off sale. It really broke my heart to part with all those points but I set myself a target. I wanted to gain £100 worth of points by Xmas so I could get a pair of GHDs for myself. As of today I have £72 worth  Thanks to all the boots tarts for pointing me in the right direction for more points. Now dilemna, as I'm ahead of target do I spend some points on Imedeen tan enhancer tablets, currently online at £19.50 half price (hopefully instore too). And indeed has anyone any experience in using these? Do they work? I've always fancied them but didn't want to fork out £40. Any advice on this would be great.
Week- my OH has bought three digital cameras in the past two years and does extensive research on the many many models out there. My advice and experience is Canon powershots are great and our current one,a Canon IXUS 70 is the best I've used. No delay in taking pics and the quality is top notch. Maybe Boots sell them. If we ever bump into each other at the Fort I can give you a demonstration. I'll be the one with a wee blue mini photo album with all my coupons in it mooching around the clearance areasHTH.
