Oooh, El has got a reason to get her own back on the nagging front........how's the knee now, El hun???

DS has migraine, but they are only 1 day jobs, although they do include vomiting a lot.....nice. I hope he grows out of them.

I hope you grow out of them too.......but a check up might be a good idea in the meantime - I mean, you don't want to grow up too quickly do you!!

Hope you have a good weekend!

Good day today. Migraine held off. Sorted quite a few things in my head and have decided to run all the finances, budgets, challenges from my pay day - makes things easier though OH is paid at the end of the month, our new budget round really starts with my pay coming in on 26th (or when that is a weekend or BH earlier!).

So have taken the chance to finalise my extra £10 a day money plus what was left off the overdraft and have just paid £943.33 off my Mint card! :T:T The OD only costs £5 a month so I would rather pay leave that higher and clear the cards first - and a lot of that is extra money anyway! Really pleased with that. Will now get started with the new budget spreadsheet and keep careful tags on everything.

On the tasks for the day didn't do too badly either:
    • [STRIKE]Two outstanding reviews (now late!)[/STRIKE]Finished one - one to do over the weekend
    • Start funding bid - Ooops missed this completely - BH monday I suspect.
    • [STRIKE]Put together workshop packs[/STRIKE] DONE
    • [STRIKE]Sort out notes and kit for workshop[/STRIKE]Pretty much done.
    • [STRIKE]Pick up car[/STRIKE]DONE - no bill yet though - hope is not too steep _pale_
    • [STRIKE]Go to PO [/STRIKE]and chemist - oops missed this
    • [STRIKE]Check for any matched bets for the EB WR[/STRIKE] Nothing at all worth doing. Thought I had a great arb until I realised I was looking at different markets! :o[STRIKE] Will have another look later[/STRIKE] Picked up a great arb on tips - limited to about £50 but makes a profit of over £3 on paid bet.
    • [STRIKE]Redeem Bet24 free bet [/STRIKE]Have to use by 29th - should be fine
    • [STRIKE]Training class this evening[/STRIKE] Had a great night.
Have my workshop tomorrow - have 7 definites and 2 possibles so should end up with at least £130 profit as well as have a lot of fun. Will update you tomorrow evening if I have any energy left!

All the best for the workshop - and you're doing great at the list and then going back using the strike key, I really like that.

    Good luck, kiddo

I'm glad the migraine has cleared up mizmir and :j:j:j:j:j:j on the money off the mint card! (is this one cleared now or do you need to get a bit more onto it?) - I hope everyone turns up to the course netting you a decent profit (which gets put into debt clearance!)

    Hi all

Workshop was great - everyone really engaged and enjoyed themselves - lots of good feedback. And a profit of £143 today (plus £35 already counted) which helps a lot too! Will add that to my £15 a month for June (June starting early for me) which will give me a good start - and will pay the amount I get off the debts at the end of the month (or maybe sooner!). Dragon - the Mint card now has a balance of about £1750 on it but it has the highest interest rate so I want to knock it down as fast as possible. Once my BC BT forms come through I will transfer whatever is left onto that but clearing it is better! :D

Might wait till the end of the month as I might need the cashflow! Have had yet another bet won at Euro - so I now have £475 trapped in there and still have £850 of the WR to do! And they have started limiting me! Could be a long haul! Think I am about to learn how to underlay...... which I don't think has anything to do with carpets! :p

Tonight I am going to relax with a bit of MBing, catch up with everyone's diaries, make dinner and perhaps watch a DVD - just chilling. OH is snowed under with marking (that time of year). Tomorrow I am clearing out a garage we have been renting and moving the last stuff home or to the tip. Then I have to work on the funding application! But have had a great start to the weekend.

As you say, an excellent start to the weekend!! That is a really good amount of profit to make from the workshop, so well done you :T

I notice that in the list of things this evening, there is no mention of a glass of wine - I really think you deserve one.....or two!

Wonderful news mizmir! So does that £145 come off the mint card as well? and I reckon you will have that cleared in no time if you can get a few hundred a month onto it!

Great news about clearing the garage - one less thing to pay out on! What is the funding for if you don't mind me asking?

Yep - it will do later in then month. Funding is a work thing - it is for a government grant to develop some technology to support work-based learners. Wouldn't normally be doing it on a bank holiday but as I was ill last week and the deadline waits for no man (or woman) I need to get going on it.
