Thanks guys. The TLC much appreciated. Am feeling a bit better now having spent most of the day so far crashed out on the sofa. Managed to have a late lunch which also helped (my problem with migraines is that I feel sick and don't want to eat but it is made worse when my blood sugar levels drop:() . Haven't done much since but did notice the 1p flights in Martin's email and managed to get OH and I a trip to Dublin for a total price of £14.80. :T:T:T That did me the world of good! OH has to go there for work next month (and so gets all expenses paid) and we had thought about me going to (since no hotels to pay etc) but the standard flights from here were too expensive. But not these ones! And she will of course be able to claim back her £7.40 travel costs (and the airport parking etc).
That gave me an incentive to try to play through this free bet so decided to try out horses (first attempt). First bet was voided after the meeting was abandoned! Next one runs with luck in 20 mins or so! Hopefully it will lose and my money will be in Betfair in time to do some more on the CL match this evening! Anyway it'll more than pays for the flights.

Going to keep resting as head is not 100% - lingering and could come back. But mood has lifted a lot and that helps!

Hey Dragon - just realised it is Wednesday. I haven't lost anything since last week - haven't gained anything either! So if you have even lost half a pound you win this week's challenge!

£18.65 profit on my first MB on the horses! Really liked doing that actually - didn't worry too much about rule 4 - reckoned it was all profit anyway so if some was removed so be it. Didn't apply - even though horse was joint favourite it limped in last - so another bookie done and money at betfair for tonight. So much quicker than the old footie!

Hmm with all the stress this week I have gained a pound! so you are the winner this week. Looks like I need to lose three pounds by next week to be on track! (the pound on, the pound I should have lost AND the pound for next week) :eek:

Nah. Just start where you are and go for a pound - any more is a bonus.

Let's both try for a pound for next wednesday - am going to avoid chocolate especially free biscuits in meetings at work!

Okay you are on! a pound it is - I aim to up my fruit and veg and do more exercise (well after all Dr Dragon IS off work at the moment :rotfl:)

Can't believe I am actually watching the champions league final with interest!!
Have two matched bets on it - doesn't really matter what happens but it'd be more convenient if Man Utd beat Chelsea with a lot of goals scored!

And they are on their way! Go Man Utd! :T
