quidco - what a shambles

I've not had anything tracked since February, and I've most definitely used it for quite a few purchases. My recent order from Orange online hasn't shown up either and it's been 4-5 days already, whereas most people I know have had theirs tracked straightaway. Will be sending them a message very soon if it still hasn't tracked by early next week.0

I joined quidco late last year and had a decent amount tracked from january, it said it was due to be paid out at end of March, It didn't pay out then, but I had just added the relevant details to receive the money. The outstanding balance was paid out at end of April-so all in all I'm happy with them at the moGE 36 *MFD may 2043

ive had over 2k off them in the nearly three years i have used them. i do prefer other sites though tcb, we promise to and cashback kings are all good 100% sites...
the reason i dont use quidco so much is the lackof communication. If i upset you don't stress, never forget that god aint finished with me yet.0 -

You offer at the best of times a great service that we all can benefit from.
One that I have used for some time now, although i can say honestly I’ve had problems with payments since I started using Quidco over a year and a half ago (my first ever transaction declined, my second only just has gone to received 20 months later) and one which unfortunately though has grown too big for the current amount of staff to cope with, struggling with simple tracking issues and unable to cope with ticket requests of recent. Hopefully with the two new staff, this will be resolved.
I at the moment have an outstanding issue with you of you withholding this months payment. It concerns me that on a forum that is here for the benefit of the consumer, a company that made well over ½ a million pounds last year from the consumer, appears to have the power on a forum to hide behind the benefits that we see from yourselves and overlook its failings with excuses.
I’ve been frustrated when for instance I’ve raised a ticket and never had a response.
I’ve been frustrated when some things tracked fine for a month and then gone to declined..only to receive an automated message saying ‘its been put on ice’
I’ve been frustrated when some things haven’t tracked at all
I’ve been confused when some things have tracked twice wondering why
I’ve been unhappy when I have to wait for over a year for a validated transaction to pay out
All above part of the day to day business of Quidco
But I’m extremely unhappy when payments are withheld for totally unrelated transactions to ones which you seem to be requesting information for that is there, in my raised tickets, on my account.
Id happily go into more detail but feel I have done this in my ticket and email to you, but the bottom line is I feel the way you have approached this matter is underhand, with no warning that my payment this month will be held back unless you had specific information which is either there on my account or I no longer have.
Adding to that, I would happily take you up on the offer of visiting your office, despite having to travel 240 miles, and be given the opportunity to explain the frustrations we the consumer feel when dealing with a company that we benefit from and sometimes even rely on.
It reminds me of my frustrations over 2 years ago when I claimed back my Bank Charges, on my own and before Martin had appeared on Tonight. Ironically it was through doing that I later found this forum, and in turn through this forum I found Quidco.
A full circle in my opinion, because I totally feel I am back where I started. Owed money and being held over a barrel.
Since it's been COMPLETELY ignored here it is again.Would also like to add, following my little rant about claiming back my bank charges at which many people laughed and shrugged their shoulders, i was contacted by the 'Tonight' people and asked to appear on their show, i didn't but later have advised and have helped many people, off my own back.
Stupid as i may seem to you Quidco, I am not, and somewhere, in your wonderful terms that say you owe us jack, somewhere, i believe you are wrong. Be it ethically or whatever, I do not believe you have the right to withhold payments that have been paid to you from merchants in faith that i have completed their obligations of cash back, in this case, because another merchant wants clarification of an old transaction paid months ago which has no bearing of the several payments YOU are withholding.240 miles..one way, happy to travel. You seem to have some magical cloud protecting you Quidco, I'm not quite sure it's correct. We will see.Just hope SOMEONE may take more notice SOMEWHERE else0 -
never mind, i dont have the energy either0

K60sav what's your point?
I tried to read your posts but don't have enough energy to try and see where you're heading with them.0 -
Martin has given us permission to post a response in this thread. Firstly, if anyone has tickets that are going unanswered, this is something about which our Customer Services Manager would be very interested in knowing the details. We have put a lot of effort into improving ticket response times and quality over the last few months, and we believe there has been a huge improvement. So if you have put in tickets that haven't been answered, that really concerns us. We apologise and ask that you please help us provide a better service to you by giving us more details so we can find out what may have gone wrong. Please log a ticket, direct to attention of the Customer Services Manager, who will promptly look into the situation and respond to you.
With regard to tracked and validated transactions, the average payment times are listed in the merchant statistics. If your transactions are varying from the averages by more than two months, we really need to know more details about this so we can look into it.
If you've experienced a sudden change in the success rate of your transactions tracking, then please check your settings. Make sure you don't have a virus or any spyware on your machine, and that nothing is blocking our cookies from being set. Please look at this help page and this blog post for more information.
Finally, there is a complaints/feedback thread here. We monitor that thread regularly and respond there, as it is in the Referrer's section. We try to answer as many questions there as possible, and all issues raised on that thread, whether they get a direct response from us there or not, are included in a weekly report to Quidco's management.Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of quidco. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE0 -
Quidco, you came here to another thread, and still ignore me.
Do i also need to ask 'Martin' for permission to reply...as this seems to make you the authority?!
Edited to say this is a consumer vent board, this is a consumer site, you are NOT the consumer, but with your permission you reply on the vent board and ignore my vent. I'm guessing this is now no longer a vent board.0 -

i shouldnt laugh but you are right poster - this is the vent forum
i am still waiting for payment which tracked in january and should have paid in march/april
doubt it will be paid for many months though
oh and to the quidco poster - the link you have put refers to the referrs board - are you saying that people should post in the quidco followup thread - if so as you will see from that post that people have been told to submit tickets but receive no answer
i beleive that i have raised this issue before - if you have a backlog/snowed under etc it is FAR BETTER to announce that fact so that people do Know rather than quidco keep tight lipped about it becuase it just makes people think that your trying to hide something etc.0 -
Did Quidco ever comment on the AA fiasco? Lots of MSE signed upto AA via Quidco only to never receive a penny from the AA. Quidco's poor response means I rarely use now and go to other more reliable cashback sites.
