quidco - what a shambles

Options
ok im know that i am not the only one but i have 6 items waiting to be paid out on coming up for nearly 6 months

all the items have tracked and validated but still have bot been paid out

tickets to quidco goes answerned which makes me think that they are theiveing gits aand are keeping the cash that has been paid by the merchants for themselves.

what other reason would they fail to give a simple courtesy of a reply to tickets raised ?

this type of thing is whsat puts me off any type of cashback sites- no guarantee if/when you get yer money.. though i bet they chase up their own referral commission, quick enough!

I'd like to give some balance to the thread. I have been signed up with a couple of cashback sites since the end of January this year and Quidco is one of them.
I have so far claimed over £460 and so far all validated/paid items have been paid on time and into my account. I currently have 3 tickets open and communcation has been brilliant. I had a successful ticket last month and all paid up now.
I wasn't sure whether the 'click thro' sites would be paid, but sure enough they have been received and paid out too.

I am very happy with Quidco at the moment :T

its not the guarantess its with the apparent lack of communication that quidco has blatanly.

with topcashback they answer your tickets within 2 or 3 days and non of this generic crap which flows from quidco mouths.

I can only say positive things about quidco. I have received everything I expected to & the only ticket I opened was sorted (although it took a while) and they communicated throughout.

I think with these sites you have to think of it as a bonus rather than as part of your calculations in working out who to buy from - then all money received is over and above what you have budgeted for.

I'd only use any cashback site if the deal was good regardless of cashback which I see as just a little added extra.

Personally, never had any issue with Quidco - out of about 50 transactions only 1 failed to track and after submitting the enquiry it's taken less than a month for it to show that the merchant has accepted to pay the cashback.
After posting about receiving an email to my MSE username/email from 'Money Expert' (note the use of ' '), I am now unable to post on MSE. Such is life.
  • I've had two that haven't tracked this month, and one that has but still waiting to be paid out.

Tesco and CD wow never track for me and enquiries take ages. A ticket for Prudential last September was updated to sucessful in December but I still haven't been paid. Can't seem to get an answer from Quidco when I will be paid.

Then there was the awful AA experience where nearly all Quidco customers weren't paid.

Quidco isn't perfect, but I try and use it where possible, and appreciate the little cash back I get (currently about £90).

Overall Quidco are good. Not perfect but despite having had several tickets raised they get there in the end.
I have a couple of long outstanding ones but I'm confident they will be paid eventually and will be added to the several hundred pounds I've already banked from them
