I have a very posh fridge... although it is meant to be stainless steel I think it might be something else as magnets don't stick... b=not that I really want them too.
Anyway, I clean it with cloth and soapy water then WD40!! Makes it look lovely!oooh look only about 220 posts and I got round to doing my Avatar already!!0 -

Baby Oil - used sparingly on a rag or paper towel, will keep stainless steel shiny. Finish by polishing with a soft dry cloth.0

I've not tried it myself, but polishing with a cloth soaked in vinegar is supposed to brighten it.

I just use a damp microfibre cloth.0

I agree with the baby oil. I use this all the time. Just make sure you keep a seperate cloth for buffing it up with.0

baby oil is also good for shining up your hearth
For the stainless steel, you can also use WD40 sparingly if you have it, it will pong a bit but does the trick.

And me, no expensive cleaning stuff around here anymore...and the cloths were £0.99 for 2:money:0 -
Surgical spirit or vinegar will remove water spots, you can shine by rubbing with soda water. Always rinse well, and keep it dry to prevent any marks.0
