    They really are just mongrels.

The only way to deal with these sub-humans is to fight back - police and council won't do anything. When I had similar problems around ten years ago, it didn't stop until I followed one of the youths and threw him in the river.

that is really bad advice, if anyone does this then they are going to end up like gary newlove and others.

agree, council and police are rubbish and will not do anything to alleviate the situation, in fact in most cases it will make things much worse.

this is something that shames me to say it,as i am a person for standing up for things, but we have to get real with how britain is today.

if your having problems with kids, accept there is nowt you can do about it as it is one of lifes bad hands you have been dealt. take a loss on your property and get out.

much better to have a hole in your finances than hole in your head caused by some peice of scum kicking it in.

As harsh as this is, it is true unfortunately. The cops and council couldn't give a toss and therefore you're on your own. Soon as you touch them you'll either end up with an assault charge or a spell inside while they stand there pointing and laughing.

If it were up to me I'd go round and shoot the little !!!!ers with a gun and then the parents.

Month of complaining and filling in diarys will get you next to nowhere. Going to meetings will waste more of your time and achieve next to nothing.

I've had some classic phrases like "They're better there than on the streets"
and "they can keep their fire because it's in a container" ... one night last summer they got really drunk and bounced on top of people's cars.

Log everything. Be meticulous if you're going to fight.
But it'll affect your health sooner or later and you might be best off cutting your losses.

Well you have 2 choices... make life hard for them or sell up.

If you plan to make life hard it will be small, concealed cameras and huge lights. Preferable with pictures of any criminal behaivour posted on lamposts where the kids families will see them as well as handed to the police and the local papers.

I also like the idea of calling the police next time the kids are loitering and telling them you think the kids has a gun, or was waving a sword. plenty on things look like guns in the dark... water pistols, phones, mp3 players. A stick could easily be a sword. The ARV turning up and 2 guys with HK35s kicking their door in may get the kids tog et the message.

TBH thought I'de say you're best to go for option B, combined with bankrupcy.

Alternative if you wait about a year law and order will have degraded to a point where you will be able to go around and beat these little s**ts to death with a gold club and dump their bodies in a river and nothing would ever happen to you.
Bankruptcy isn't the worst that can happen to you. The worst that can happen is your forced to live the rest of your life in abject poverty trying to repay the debts.

Was also my first stop. I was passed around and eventually put in touch with the Safer Neighbourhoods team. Their response was 'sorry about the situation, not a lot we can do without evidence'. Think I'm going to give them another go though - it's been a while, and I think there is a new team in place now.

Thats a disgraceful response from an SNT.

Call them again and if you get the same answer then write to the borough commander. You should be able to find out who your local SNT are - names and rank (you might also be able to get their work mobile numbers). If they brush you off, mention them by name in your complaint.

Take the name of the SNT person you speak to and tell them that if nothing happens you will be mentioning their name and response directly in your complaint. Might stop them munching doughnuts and make them do something? Also, get video evidence if you can, especially of loitering youths, make a list of what you have suffered, then take it to your MP's surgery. For once it's going to be a tight fight next time round so they'll be working like dogs to score points on law and order.

I have a friend who has suffered a similar problem with gangs of moronic locals doing minor damage and being a general nuisance.

Ultimately I'd say get the hell out by whatever means necessary. It'll drag you down. Get shot of the house.

It's sad that the brats should land you with a debt like this.

Personally I'd want to speak to the parents. Get someone to video it if you think you're going to be assualted. Then stick on youtube, contact the press etc.

The sad thing about all this stuff is that all it would take in these places is a 24 hr police presence for a few days and then a fast response when trouble started. The police are worthless though.

Its terrible that house prices have got so ridiculous that people have had to pay almot 100 grand to live amongst scum. I know someone who just at the very height of the bubble put down almost a quarter of a million pounds to live in HALF a converted ex LA maisonette on an estate that sounds similar to yours.

I hope they dont have problems because theyll be living in that place forever.
