    Still a bit overweight!

Yesterday was NOT a NSD... I went to a folk night with a friend (free but had 2 drinks!) It was really good to get out although today I want to immediately go out and buy a new mandolin and somehow put my nose stud back in, neither of which are good ideas.

Newsflash! Just had the post and had a reply from my mortgage company. I have been very naughty and they don't refund charges to naughty people but on this occasion, due to my circumstances.....

    :-)

    Hiya

I have hardly been on here this week at all, so will read the back story later.

But really great news. How are you getting re-paid? Money back to your account or just not having to find the extra this month?

    Hello, RAS.

They never did take the charges so now they won't bother.

In the library at the moment, using their printer so my college course will be nearly finished by the end of half term.

Hope everyone is OK and looking forward to half term. My sons are away Saturday morning until Tuesday evening so I am going to watch my brother play cricket on Saturday then am off to a Eurovision Song Contest party on Saturday night! (I've done more socialising this week than I do in a month normally!)

Had a weird letter from my new solicitor yesterday that I don't understand. There is a letter from my old solicitor attached that says something about the legal aid not being finished because of the statutory charge. Although I was 99% sure I had paid everything off and I know the charge is on the house as I got the paperwork back from the Land Registry. Heigh ho. I can phone neither the old nor the new solicitor as they are both on holiday!

Right, went to the medical centre after the library and am now longer overweight! I am now 69 kg so have lost 5 kg over the last few weeks. I am 24.something on the BMI now.

In which case you had better start eating again and you now have some money to pay for stuff.

I am just under 11 stone and according to the chart I can be 9 stones before I'm underweight. I'd look pretty awful at 9 stones!

Yes, a Sainsburys trip is definitely in order.

    Acey

I hope that you have a really lovely weekend; great to learn you are off out having some fun and being Liz rather than mum 24/7.

I can almost guarantee that I will be unable to post on here because it will lock me out when I am on the public machines (although I may be a cheap "lap top" tomorrow). All I can do when I log on in those situations is thank people.

Enjoy yourself and maybe have a treat?

It was all going so well until Monday night :-( when the car ground to a halt. I thought a new fuel filter would be enough but once at the garage the mechanic noticed it still had the same spark plugs in as when it left the factory (!) so its had a service :-(

    Rats

So how is June looking. Do you get to the end of the month with any money in the bank?

For the future could you persuade your bro or dad to look at the car every 6 months?

And what was the freudian slip (do tell).
