That would be OK with the chicken and the pizza but I'm not sure how the pies would fare.

Anyway, I have remembered we are going to mum and dad's for tea on Sunday so the pies can wait!

Re: the "filing", I have been thinking about it and I have been more "tying up loose ends" than filing. I have done LOADS of jobs this year, even though the ex has been gone 3.5 years there has been stuff I haven't got round to doing. So every room is now painted, little DIY jobs done (and the garden) and everything completely cleaned out and organised.

When Warm Front insulated the loft, my brother had to empty it all out for me and that was more stuff that had to be dealt with. I also found loads of my tapes and CD's that the ex hid in there (he only played his stuff).

Other loose ends have been appointing a new solicitor (done), finishing my college course (also nearly done) and there is also something from the past that has been troubling me a lot recently (and was in one very vivid dream, probably could be classed as a premonition :-S) and I am sort of dealing with that.

N.B Really, I have no time for the supernatural but the last premonition I had showed 2 small boys walking through a door, one thick set and dark haired and one thin with blonde hair. They had matching hair cuts. I was at that point 3 months pregnant and went on to have a blonde haired, puny boy to go with the dark haired thick set one. And they have identically straight hair... I knew after that premonition that the one on the left was my son and the one on the right would be my new son...

Anyway, one more loose end is to get a new will written up. I was talking to Dad about this yesterday and we were discussing what would happen to my house if I died now. I don't want the ex back here wrecking it so would want it rented out to someone until the boys were 18. Is that possible? Can I do an online type will?

    P.S Sorry for rambling.

I hope you enjoy playing your old music again.

I had a blonde puny brother; he is now 6 foot three and "fit", although he will never be chunky like his dad became.

You need to ask you new lawyer about the will, given you very difficilt circumstances. Do not try to do this on-line.

There are two big areas; what happens to the boys and what happens to the house. Even if you think it might not happen, I would suggest that you appoint guardians for the boys, preferably your parents or brother, so there is someone there if your ex cannot care for them.

The house is yours to dispose of as you wish. I know you would want the boys to have it but it might be better to write it in such a way that ex cannot access it even if he is officially responsible for them. Not least as with full control, he might be able to sell it as he has everything else he has got his mitts on.

i am just re-writing my death in service nominations because leaving £xx to youngsters would affect their access to grants and loans if they become students and to benefits. So the money is going to their mother, who can use it to help pay for their education or towards a deposit rather than it being swallowed up by the system.

Not quite a no spend day. Bought some milk again yesterday and today naughtily bought ice cream as we always have that when watching Dr Who!

Today, out of the blue, I received lots of certificates from work in the post (Powerpoint etc) and a cheery note! Interesting, as it was from someone instrumental in getting me the sack...

    Lots of NSDays later....

Today I had a letter from my bank and they are not going to charge me "on this occasion" for when my mortgage bounced!

    Nothing else to report, really.

    Note to RAS!

Re: all the carbs (only took me several days to realise this!) - its a side effect of the tablets I am taking. I've been on them 2 years now and for the first few months I could have happily eaten porridge 6 times a day!

    Hi ACEY

I have not been getting email notification of a new post to the thread so I have missed a bit here and there.

The bank is not going to charge you, which is great news but have you herd from the mortgage people about their charge and are they going to take two mortgage payments this month.

I have not heard back from the mortgage company. I wonder if they have a time in which they are supposed to respond? Its been nearly 2 weeks now.

They took April's mortgage on May 12th and will soon be taking May's payment. They have not taken the charges yet.

Have not tackled the CSA again yet, think I will write to my MP as I have had less than £200 over 3.5 years!

Apart from that, we are still living on fresh air.

Oh yes, weight the other day was 74kg. This is slightly too much (just over 25BMI).
