Virgin offer does sound good, but you have to a NTl or Telewest customer, or sign upto to there service first.

Offer from virgin is £20 a month is 200 minutes & 500 texts
Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j
  • You can also have the £20 a month Virgin sim only deal with 300 minutes and 300 texts.

    http://www.virginmobile.com/vm/paymonthlySimOnly.do
  • As long as you will use the boots points or buy ipods to sell etc the boots deal is far better than the ntl deal though:

This one you get a free phone:
    400 xnet mins
    250 texts
    25 video mins
    £5 downloads

    12 month cost = £420
    Boots points = £410

I only spend £5 a month on payg, so I wouldn't get a contract for the sake of having one. But the Boots offer seems to be paying me to take a phone off their hands! The only thing making me hesitate is that the contract has to be paid for with real money, and the reimbursement is in Boots money, and I don't know that there's enough flex in my budget to cover £400 worth of Boots products, even if I did buy all my Christmas gifts there.

What would the best orange deal be with this - their offers for 12 months don't seem as good as the rest but I'm after the sim card for my orange Wednesdays!!! Would probably sell the handset on e-bay (are vodaphones easy enough to unlock??)
;) If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!

You should go to the mobile phones forum and ask about the model you are thinking of. They should be able to tell you if it can be easily unlocked.

As for which plan is the best, I haven't found any way to find that out other than clicking on every phone

The only way to really get your money out of it would be to buy electronics such as ipods that you could sell on ebay. Not quite ready to commit the cash though.

Your contract is with vodafone, you will have to contact them, usually allowing 30 days notice.
ACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷
