MONEY MORAL DILEMMA. Would you drink someone else's champagne?

I wondered what had happened to my Champers. Can I have it back please?0

Would contact delivery firm to have them decide what they want to do, collect or let me keep it. At least cost to me - pref. e-mail as it is free - as it's not my fault I received it.
I like champagne. Whether it is technically theft or not, it would feel like theft as it wasn't intended for me.Cheap and cheerful. Preferably free. :T LBM - more a gradual rude awakening.

and I'm in recovery :j - to drink it would kill me  (apart from which, like some others, never could stand the taste) so I'd def call the delivery co to come and take it backIf i upset you don't stress, never forget that god aint finished with me yet.0

I'd contact the delivery company and let them know about their error. I would hope they'd look into it and check whether they'd made a mistake or not (rather than the customer) rather than just dismissing it and telling me to keep it! If they told me to keep it, I'd give it to a friend as I'm not a big drinker, however the fact that I'm not a big drinker has nothing to do with my decision! If it was a big box of luxury chocolates I'd do the same... but with the chocolates I would be hoping for them to tell me I could keep them.0

As my name is Deidre I would possibly skull it on the doorstep there and then. I would probably wonder who it was from, however.0

I don't particulary like champagne anyway, so would be unlikely to drink it. Would try to find original addressee, however, if that was a fruitless search just might pass it on as gift...!0

Okay, So say I keep the champagne & the delivery man never comes back - And Deirdre never gets the nice warm glow of being appreciated and loved because she never knows - And very likely that the nice person who sent it to her thinks what a thoughtless creature she is because she never thanks him - And the good connection they could have had between them never happens and in fact may go downhill if the sender perceives her as being rude to not say thankyou. And on top of that it could be a pretty high price for my personal karma too - And all for the sake of a bottle of fizz. Hmmmmmmm.....0

I wouldn't have to make this choice. At the time of delivery I would have checked the details and refused to sign in the first place.Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!0

i would call up the supplier and let them know, chances are they won't send a courier to pick up a bottle of champagne - unless it was Cristal or Krug Vintage!!!
They know your address even though it was delivered in error so I would feel more comfortable being honest about this.[size=-2]Remember its nice to be nice and its good to share!

The signing sheet has only an address on it - the details are in the box on the card round the bottle's neck, your superman Xray eyes aren't working because you have hay fever. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett
