Personally I would take a cheap flight to spain etc and have a nice day out whilst you're there, hell I dont smoke but if I did I would pop to spain every 6 months to a year to get my goods.

Just remember you can only get goods for yourself or your friends and family as long as you dont get any money back for the goods, as previously mentioned this doesnt not apply to postal purchases.

I'd add an "unfair" as well - never had a problem with customs bringing in 3-4,000 from the EU. The real unfair is increasing the wait/queues at immigration to make you you think the guvmint/"ankers are looking out for you...

I think your posts just highlight what a one dimensional character you are if the only thing you can see is your own issues, I assume you would happily put up with more drugs and weapons on the streets of the uk just so you could have a cheap tab.

At no point have I said you/anyone shouldnt go abroad to buy their goods, hell if you would like to cast your eyes up this post I encourage it, I dont smoke but if I did I would happily pop across the water to get my goods every 6 months to a year. My job is not to hassle innocent shoppers out of their goods as I have far bigger fish to fry, and my record on appeals against any of my seizures is virtualy nil, so I guess im getting the right people.

I assume you think that people selling dutyable goods for profit is a legitamate way of making a living, well thats your opinion but is it right that your average honest citizen pays their taxes and theses people feel they are above the law, I wish I could go into detail but some of the people I have helped to send down had more money than you could shake a large stick at and yet still thought they were within their rights to claim benefits.

I understand that some people dont like us but they tend to be the people who have something to hide or think they are beyond the law.

Im under no illusion that we face the danger of the army/fire service/police etc but we often put ourselves in some hairy situs to try and protect this country often being hampered by the very law which we use to prosecute people.

As far as being as thick as pig poop and a peasent well thats your opinion but I pity you if you feel that all people who disagree with you are sub standard to your amazing intellect.

Anyway its my day off after working 70hours without a day off so its time to leave this fight for now.

My wife smokes and I dont and we get her fags when we are on holiday which is roughly twice a year.
Hell we even get her fags when we travel outside the EU and stuff them in our case for the return journey, (slapped wrist I know). But at the end of the day, we dont bring back more 3000 fags each time we go away.

Belgium cig prices have gone france more expensive but still cheaper than uk.

200 superkings are £34.50
200 B & H are about £35 - 40
Tobacco Golden virginia is £49 for 10 packs.

My driver said they are now cheaper on the ferry so maybe just get a cheap ferry ride over and get them on there, you should be able to check prices on ferry online......... or ask in your local pub as most people flog them for about £30-35 when they hve been bought from spain.

I wrote a long rant back at you and decided to delete it as Im not going to get into this with you, it feels like a dis-agreement between my kids and I wont allow myself to lower myself to your level. The reality is I know the truth as to do many right minded people and thats all that really matters to me.
