... and then cleaned out and washed the mobile skip we call a car :rotfl:
Sound just like my car AnW which I did yesterday. Mind you, I'm really grumpy - went out not long ago to put the dried dog blanket back in and it's covered in a very fine dust!
Will have to take a cloth out in a moment and rub it all off.
Then I shall be brave and open the door of the cupboard under the stairs and maybe even take a pic of it showing my ridiculously high ironing pile and the fact it's a tip. that will, surely, prompt me to sort it out?I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Doelani - I thought you were going to pace yourself. Sounds like you have done loads to me. I'd have a sit down and a nice like rest - just like I am doing.
The house is an absolute pit but I'm finding it difficult to do much with my bad knee. I can't bend it without being in agony so picking up toys, putting washing in and going up stairs are pretty much out. Still its a good excuse to relax.
Still only another hour or so and we can crack the wine open.0 -
Pinkfairy - Thinking of you. Take it easy honey.
doelani - slow down, it's Sunday and you're making the rest of us look bad!
soappie - woah!!! Good luck with that one! (you always seem too organised to have a 'don't open me' cupboard
Davgirl - ((hugs)) pleased you aren't over doing it with your bad knee, get those children to help picking up the toys (mine will be later as their rooms are a pigtip!)
Michelle - Sam is doing well, that length sleeping mine didn't do until they were on solids! Bloomin' nuggets with the fire, you could report it if needs be but sometimes more hassle than it's worth.
Dusty - the piriton seems to have solved it, he's not scratching either, well done for reminding me (I forget he gets hayfeverbad mother) He did have a wet bed this morning but at least it's really hot again so I can get his sheets and duvet dry.
AnWsMun - Fingers and everything crossed that your Mum and Dad get the balloon trip. Seen one go over this morning when we were out, I'm just not brave enough!
G&B - Hope the cat recovers well.
Ohhhhhhhhhhh dear, I got caught up in the moment and just ended up spending :rotfl: £149.99 on a BBQ EEEEEK!! I've took it out of the holiday savings, I know it'll help us enjoy being outside much more and I am sick of buying cheap ones that are too small and having to ditch them when they drop to bits. Anyway this means of course BBQ for tea, my friend's are coming over inc little Matthew, I have several bottles lemonade cooling to have with a few archersSo all in should be a nice evening. Have blitzed through the house S&S everywhere, vacuumed through etc ready for guests, just need to prepare some salad etc then I think we're sorted.
One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
