It is soooooooooooooooo hot out there. I have done one hour sweeping up, planting out some bits in the veg patch and watering loads of pots which are too dry. More watering needed later. Hope to do HHG everyday this week to try to get on top of some bits that need doing now.

Cold drink with ice cubes now and then making kebabs for lunch - glad to be inside for a bit TBH.

    Afternoon all :D

Beautiful weather here today but DD has decided she wants to stay in today  I don't mind too much as my ebay items are ending tonight so I'd like to be about to answer any questions I get and I can get the washing done. I've taken my winter quilt off my bed so thats airing on the washing line then I'll binbag that up and store it for the summer. Can't decide whether to put a blanket on or use the quilt covers as blankets - will see.

So my list for this beautiful sunday :
    • Dishes
    • Kitchen S&S
    • Finances - meeting with the bank manager tomorrow :o:eek:
    • Make beds - both currently stripped.
    • WM (lights, dark, bedding, rug, cleaning cloths )
    • Bath DD
    • School stuff ready
    • Ebay sorting out
and anything else that crops up :rotfl:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Dishes all done and kids are all eating, they keep going into the plantan next to the house so i'm gonna have to find a way to block it up, the dog runs through the hedge making a gap that they can get through there's quite a few gaps.

Plan is to get on with the house and do abit of gardening later then find more to put on ebay.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

DS1 making kebabs for lunch, he has lost his cricket helmet and batting gloves this week and his bat has just split - think he is trying to make amends.

OH had oiled the bench and put it together. He is sanding and oiling the old garden table which may only last this year - it is falling to bits. Hopefully I can get a new one at the end of the season reduced.

    Hi everyone

Had a lazy morning here, catching up with the thread. Just having lunch and then we are off to see some friends. Can you all keep your fingers crossed for this afternoon please. Mum and Dad are hoping to go for their balloon flight this evening, they rang the place to check weather conditions and have to ring again after 4pm. They have had so many cancellations it's untrue. The first time they were booked to go up was the week after DH died (had been booked for a month at that point) and of course that was cancelled due to circumstances. Since then whenever they have been available the weather had been c**p. Really hoping it works out for them tonight. If so I will take the camera and try and get some pics for you.

Hope everyone is enjoying the sun, extra special hugs to those with Hayfever, so far both W and I seem ok (A luckily does not suffer with it).

Wow baby Sam is doing really well practically sleeping through! Well done Michelle :)

    Thinking of you today pink

Why are people having their houses repossessed for a few extra quid.. I pay £50 over my compulsory payment anyway.. why did they take on so much kniwing it would be a struggle if interest went up??.. £30 increase and still lose your home is ludicrous!! .. that isn't even 1 night out a week.. surely they can find that?! Speaking as someone who did have a house repossessed 11 years ago!!..

Part of the reason we decided not to go buy that house. We are quite comfy in the fact that if the morgage did go up it wouldn't affect us.

I understand why people do it though. Sometimes the only way to get a house is to stretch yourself and hope you get enough over time to keep up.

Oooooo forgot to say that yesterday after swimming lessons we went and changed A's faulty school shoes and then cleaned out and washed the mobile skip we call a car :rotfl: Now that HAS to be worth 2 dog biscuits, 1 for braving the shoes on a Saturday and the other for the annual car clean whether it needs it or not :p

We would have gone to the park but W decided to play up in Morrisons and would not choose anything for lunch so home we came *bad mother*
