Evening ladies and sorry so many of you are feeling low/having a tough time.
Michelle are you putting sam in the sun? All of mine were bright yellow by day 4 - I was advised to lay them in a nappy or short suit with the sun shining through the window to clear the jaudice. Just for short periods - don't cook him.
Raph sorry to hear about your car
I never got to Morrisons today so need to do that first thing in the morning.
I need to make our bed and wipe round upstairs but DS3 wants me to sit and watch tv with him as his brothers are out so it might not get done. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Evening all
Well all in all a good days flying here. Few bits in kitchen to wash but that is DH task this evening. Did all the ironing whilst stood in the garden watching the kids in the paddling pool. I even came in and put it all away, usually leave the stuff in piles for a couple of days this was so much easier, I really should do it every time.
DH doing his HHE on the wii fit, have unlocked the boxing exercise now - I am loving that one:D , feel the tension slipping away lol!
Have opened a bottle of wine and having a well earnt glass - guess pigpen is off on the razz tonight??
Right hubbie finished so Im off for another boxing match (on the wii that is not with DH)0 -
Evening Shell I have just taken my first sip of the day delicious.
All kids collected now so hopefully all soon in bed. Given up on any idea of flying. OH can make the bed when he gets home. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Still in the thick of the busy spell/short staffing at work but I'm hoping this great weather will mean things start slowing up and I get some of my life back. Hope to be back properly at the end of May. I live in hope..

Hi guys
Sorry I haven't been on todsayShort of putting the hoover around and cooking the kids tea I haven't done anything around the house.
This morning I took the kids to school, dropped Sadie off with her Aunty and then I went on to my new job at the Charity Shop - training as a managerI wasn't sure I could bring myself to turn up and I have been having panick attacks over it but I went and I am glad I did - I loved it !!!
Then it was straight to the school as it is the grand opening of the new school building nd spring fair tomorrow and I owed SIL big style for scimmping the meeting the other night !!! More then made up for missing the meeting though - I am just in the middle of baking 50 scones as we have been let down by someone elseAlso doe 2 yoghurt cakes, a victoria sponge and a coffee cake for my cake stall.
Have also booked the DJ for DD1's birthday party and ordered the cake today.
So even though I haven't done loads at home I have been so busy - didn't sleep last night either because me and DH had a major bust upso I am soooo tired.
Going to go and read through the rest of the thread now.

shell thanks, I seen a soltan one which was a 'once' which lasted 6 hours, now that would be enough to cover until after breaktimes/dinner but just wondered how effective it is, I'll have a look for the P20 one. To be honest the childrens teachers/swimming teacher/LSAs have been helping them (I think it's a case of common sense when they know the boys have difficulties) so they're managing with the roll ons for now but worth looking into when we need more.
tia thanks for looking anyway, I spoke to a pharmacy rep today who deals with suncreams etc and he said they have all stopped doing them as far as he's aware.
ashbart, tell him what you told us, you thought it would be ok because he usually brings his dog etc.
soappie if he/she doesn't pay then report it as a non paying dispute, or it'll cost you money
johanne, pigpen is right! With the OU, sure there is a form you can submit for when grade is effected by bad circumstances, we were told to put one in when we were moving, thankfully I passed as it was so manic I forgot to send the form, also you can apply for extensions if required. As for the financial situation, unfortunately that's the way it always is.
Michelle frequent feeds is a good way to get rid of the bilirubin, they usually say 8-10 a day, I remember that with my son.
Solway ((big hugs)) sorry to hear you're really busy at the mo, fingers crossed it slows down again soon
Tashja well done!!! Sorry to hear you and your partner have been arguing, hope things are sorted now.
raph, sorry to hear about the car, I am dreading the day we have to call it a day with DPs. Unfortunately they usually charge to cancel insurance, last time I had this issue I actually saved money keeping it running because of the cancel fee being added, then also the next insurance I had another years NCB.
hev good luck with the visit and the insurance peeps
Well everything is DONE apart from emptying one Wilkos box, even DP helped a little clearing the desk a bit, putting his coats away and clearing some stuff off the dining table, he also fixed the brekkie bar (needed a new leg!). Apart from the bathroom upstairs is still a mess but at least downstairs is done. I have worked my **** off then of course I also had to when the children came home, took them to the park for an hour then home so I could cook.
Been overcast here since about 3.30pm which was fine by me as it was so much cooler, the boys were much more keen to be outside playing because it wasn't 'too hot'. It's raining in other parts of the area now so hopefully on it's way here as it'd be nice to just cool the air (and wash my car)
I've been back to Sainsburys as I had to go and take water for DP (his car blew hose off when stuck in traffic) got a few bits for the weekend, some reduced milkhalf price
I usually don't get any stickered items in shops. I even bought myself a little mini bottle of wine! Thinking I deserve a treat but now I am too tired to drink it :rotfl: I don't know if I will like it (years since I last drank wine) I'll only have one glass as I have the boys but I just can't be bothered, saying that it might help me sleep.
:rotfl: just been watching the news on the tele, one of DPs tattoo artists he uses just been on the tele about mortgages, you know when you're not listening/watching properly then you hear something you know :rotfl: Other thing I found scary was when people were saying they're being repossessed because the mortgage went up £30 a month, do people seriously leave themselves that short after paying the bills when taking a mortgage out? That's madness! One day I might be more organised...........
