thanks. not much i can say no to unfortuntely..
official stuff on sat is registering baby! cant do it without OH if want him on the birth certificate, and cos he started his new job the monday after she was born on the friday we didnt get a chance... then as hes currently workin 9-5 mon fri, saturday mornings was only time we could register her as he cant get time off when registry office is open. And wasnt done last sat he had to be at his nieces communion being her godfather and that had been planned for months..
sunday i dont want to skirt out of cos obv as you all know FIL meant world to me and wanna be there for OH. And uni work.. cos of everything i missed my last assignment so cant NOT hand this one in... otherwise i'll fail my course and i cant afford the £565 to resit it next time..
Mainly just peed off with other stuff like finances and how cos OH is moving in here were gonna be penalised for all sorts of stuff.. and be financially worse off compared to if we stayed living apart.. stupid isnt it that were penalised for wanting to be a family??
Also fed up with how shallow and petty some people around me are being. Just wanna scream and holler at them and let everyone know what they are up to.. but i cant and its really winding me up
Baba is being a little angel this afternoon now though.. so least thats one positive!0 -
Johanne.. just tell her your need to get the assignment done so you can give her a fabulous life and ask if she will just have a bit longer sleep once a day.. it does work..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

quick wave to everyone.
hot weather is nice but weary isn't it. Sam is still a little angel, but feeding loads. Needs to though as he is looking realy yellow today, and i want it to fade before the midwife comes back on monday.
house is looking a bit bombsite-esque here too johanne. Stuff everywhere - the ILs are up visiting (staying in local hotel though) but brought loads of pressies, there is a mound of washing up.
We are just trying to do a bit every day. The floors look manky and need a hoover - DS and the cats means it looks bad unless done daily, and i certainly am not doing it at the moment.
DH has just taken DS and ILs to supermarket - so i guess i should perhaps of done some of the washing up before he got back, but baby now stirring for a feed. oh well. MIL will cook at least tonight, so i can contiunue being lazy and slobbing. My excuse, i barely slept for the last 2 nights - DS wakes if he hears the baby cry, although thankfully settles fairly quickly, but i was trying to avoid waking him last night.
Anyway, best go do the feeding. Will try to pop back over the weekend.
nicki congrats - good news
hex beautiful garden - i would love to be sitting there right now but my hayfever would kill me.0 -
Hiya
Quick hello and hugs to all especially Johanne and Michelle. I've done very little as it's my friend's birthday so we've been chilling all day. I have done a S/S throughout and swept and vaccuumed all the floors, two washing loads and washed two more cushion covers so not bad really. DH has cleaned the car inside and out so it's no longer resembling a tip and he's about to mow the back lawn. The place isn't the cleanest in the world but it's tidy so i'm happy.
Speak over the weekend and hope everyone has a good one xx0 -
Well, took the car for it's MOT today and it failed! Losts of welding needed, and one of the tyres needs replacing. Mechanic said it would cost around £260 to repair and as I only want £250 for the damn thing it's not worth it.
So car has been scrapped, the scrappy has given me £50 to take it away, and I can claim back the unused Tax, should get about £40. At least I've got something back, and I will save on insurance & breakdown cover, and of course the very expensive diesel!
I've cancelled my breakdown cover, and I'm trying to cancel my insurance, but aparently I need to e-mail or fax them first. Then I have to pay a cancellation fee of £44.84 for the privilege

Another day's supply teaching, mostly really good, but ended with a difficult bottom set year 7, one of whom I plan to bump off if I happen to be in a dark alley with her any time...
Still really hot and sunny here.
We had a lovely meal out last night with DD and friends, but I didn't sleep well and am really tired today. I'm doing the washing and drying of towels and clothes, but the rest will have to be caught up with tomorrow or Sunday.
Thank you for your good wishes for DD, all passed along!
dusty - I'm not exactly sure what you mean by off register - she is on study leave from next week, and then GCSE's, and will then go into the 6th form from September, with an induction week at the beginning of July.
nicki - well done on news!
johanne - hugs. Antibiotics can make you feel very down, even without any post baby let down, so please take extra special care of yourself.
hex - I absolutely love your garden!! I really, really must get on with the trellis on the back fence, so my seating area is more private...and plant those scented plants! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0
