Just having lunch before I do a list and make a start. Took a hayfever pill before bed last night and I woke up only a little bit snotty but I feel a bit groggy today. Lunch and coffee will sort me out.0 -

I've been a bit depressed but I'm creeping back out now. Been reading and thanking but not posting. It comes and goes, at least I know it goes.0 -

My washing machine is driving me crazy, need to phone an engineer methinks:mad:
I'm leaving it to DH as it was difficult enough to get off one handed...i'll let you know when he comes in. I'm finding the grocery challenge really good. It's really making me think about what I buy instead of just buying it and it's making me check prices. I've just realised that tampons were over £1 more in tesco express than tesco online....no offers on either so that has to be a mistake. I'm going to go and check later. In the past i'd have never noticed.
Done today's list and a few extras and working for an hour this afternoon - just some beauty treatments I can do with one hand.
Enjoy the weather everyone xx0 -
Hello all
:cool:ORF ops can now stand down until next Tuesday:cool: - I achieved much better in my wangling than I thought I would and am now working from home until next Tuesday:D:D:D:D:D - though there's a slight possibility of being called back in if something urgent crops up.
But, fingers crossed, it won't.
The washing I put out this morning is now dry so I've just put my bedding in the washing machine because, with this wind and sun, it'll be dry by bedtime.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Back to school for me but I have had a lovely time pottering in the garden. A road truck has parked across my driveway and I need to go by car this afternoon as I have both boys cricket bags to take.

I almost left the house an hour early to collect DS1 from school! :rotfl:
Cheeky buyer on eBay. She bought 3 items. And if from Italy. So I checked and by combining her postage and everything going in the one bag, the postage would cover it. So she pays. Then asks that I send it international recorded/signed for! Yes, for an extra £3.00 you cheeky mare! :rotfl:
One item still to pay and I will post them all later today.
My purple wedges that i bought for £7.50 only went for £3.70 boohoo! But its more than leaving them sitting in the cupbaord forever. Pyapal is half way to 6 months road tax for the fiesta! :T
List.
S&S living room, kitchen and bathroom
Hoover downstais
hoover stairs
hoover kids room
put washing away
HHI
cupbaord under the stairs.
Off to make a start instead of faffing about on the PC.0 -

Master bedroom & landing -Thursday
[STRIKE]Remove and wash bed linen and duvet covers.
Fling open the window and let in the spring![/STRIKE]
Washed/in the process of washing all protector things.
I am clearing all the bookcases/bedside tables/chest of drawers  It is all being placed on the bed so that I can file later. 1 area found for ebay, anything to be kept I will home straight away and the rest is going in the bin.
Hunted out the summer duvet only to find I haven't taken it to be cleaned yet
I need to rewash our sheet again - it was caught against the wall and is all dusty now...
The empty ironing basket that I created has been filled again
Better dry my hair before I turn into a frizz ball and then get the kids - it will all still be here when I get back (unless there is a decluttering fairy someone can send my way!?)

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!!!!
The tax credits have been sorted for 2007/2008.. and seeing as they adjusted our 'income' for the year and included a 3% payrise from January I have just had an extra payment of £300.. and burst into tears.. that is half the money I needed to cover the remaining payments, along with the £260 in my diary I need to put in bank.. just need another £60 and everything is paid for the month!!!!!
I cannot believe I am crying with relief!! what an airhead I am!!
I can now afford new specs for DD1, new shoes & the 3 pairs of trainers I am putting off buying.. and I may stretch to a few bits of school uniform for September!.. or I could invest in some summer shoes for my trotters... IF I can find any!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Fingers crossed it settles.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0
