Moam possibly either Evans or maybe try Sloggis, I got some cheap (new unused of course) good ones off ebay.
Mudbath, I have been known to put covers back on damp. Easier to stretch them! You could stuff them in and wait for them to settle in a bit before fastening them. To be honest I've had them come back worse from a drycleaners! Oh and I have set my homepage on firefox as Quidco so I don't forget.
kaz hope you have a good night out tomorrow.
Pigpen my delivery from Wilkos was left in front of my front door some time between 6am and 8am this morning, they didn't even ring the door bell/activate the dogs.
soappie, hugs, why do they need to make everything terribly complicated!
New garden set built, well actually the table because the rest was built ready, scary building a glass table, even sat in the garden for a little while which was nice. DS did better at football, actually took part a bit doing what the others were sometimes which makes a change :rotfl: Was naughty and went for dinner at the pub this afternoon, gave me and DP another chance to talk. So far so good, but no I am not backing down. Getting way too hot here, I don't like it, windows wide open in the bedroom, speaking of which, ARGH!!! I forgot to make the bed, might see if I can get DP to help.
Recorded Apprentice on Skyplus, sat giggling at lovely Sir Alan's sarcasm, I love that guy. I should have got a shower before, think I will go in now. Well ok after this has finished. Good night everyone xOne day I might be more organised...........

tia ash and justamum (I think) hope hay fever gets kept at bay
natty - am sure your friend understands
soappie so with you on the rantage. I too am a software tester (in fact when I read your email yesterday about montors and laptops and pedestals etc it all sounded very familiar) and I too am regularly stymied by online bankingy type things ((hugs))
sorry to everyone I've forgotten, I can't remember it all.
My day was a bit better. Have decided to do 3 things - a list of the guff at work (soappie will identify I am sure),a list of rubbish things today in general and end on a happy note of nice things today. Here we go:-
Guff at work:
1. I have been told to prebook as much holiday as possible to avoid mandatory-ish (its not legal they cant force it but they want s to) taking of holidays during certain term-time weeks. But I can't cos the online holiday booking system says I am still on leave.
2. I can't get access to my voicemail as I have no password so if anyone leaves me a message I cant retreive it and the global helpdesk somewhere in the Far East may or may not fix it and I dont know when
3. I cant use my PC based soft phone as it configured for someone else
4. We have to use Lotus Notes for email. Whats wrong with Outlook theres a reason the rest of the world use it
5. I got an email from my boss's boss's boss's boss (yes 4 levels above) to ask me why in the last year I have failed to complete an online standards of business conduct training course and saying he took it seriously enogh to get personally involved. Er I havent done it lastyear cos I've been on maternity leave for most of it ? It was such an aggressive email, nice welcome back. As DH said why didnt he just ask my boss (or my boss's boss even) if he could have a word with me.
6. I wasted loads of time trying to transfer an online Chemical Authorization (!!!!!! I test software !!!!!!) which was assigned to me in error.
7. I completed a my new contract to return to HR in Scotland but couldnt post it because apparently we havent paid our Royal Mail invoice so they are refusing to collect our mail and I keep forgetting to put it in the post box. DH says I should walk to the postbox on company time tomorrow so thats what I am going to do
Rubbish things-
1. Awful leaving LO again
2. DD poo'ed herself 3 times
3. Annoying friend at school wouldnt go away so CM told me about the tirst poo incident in her earshot
4. Didnt stop doing the lunches/bags/DW etc and so forth til 9.30 am shattered again
5. Ripped a pair of brand new trousers
And now the good bit the lovely things:-
1. LO didnt sleep when we got home so I got to see her for ages
2. DS gave me half his late Easter Egg "because I love you Mummy":A
3. No args with DH
4. Started a suntan what with the walking and the cycling
5. Friend gave DS lift there and back to/from party, saved me doing that run
6. Went to see another friend and she cooked tea for DD
7. DD got place at preschool we want one session for in September as it feeds into primary school. Only want Mon am as I dont especially like this preschool but she will get to know kids she'll be at school with, and we got the day and time of day we want.
Phew a mammoth post even for me , wellits off my chst now i am ready for bed ! Work again tomorrow but then 4 days of the kids

Morning all
JillD - small world eh? Hugs about the bad bits of your day yesterday and smiles about the good bits.
I'm going to try and wangle working from home tomorrow I think.
Did three loads of washing last night - two went out on the line before I went to bed and are almost dry this morning. I've just got the third to put out this morning before I go to work.
About to jump in the bath and then hit the road. Think I'll definitely leave the dog at home today - forecast is for temps in the 20s again today so she'll be cooler here.
Have a good day ladiesI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hi everyone,
I was so hoping for bathroom day
I suppose once I find some motivation I can get a clear run out our room... more caffine needed - didn't sleep well last night.
I need to write a shopping list too (almost run out of shredded coconut  :rotfl: ) I suppose I can sit it in the sunshine a bit longer then
All the washing I hung out last night (after dark) is dry and there is another to go out.
Have a good morning!0 -
