    Evening all

Well, my day, like the curate's egg was good in parts. There were some nice quiet times but some other awful times in the new office. Five people held a long conversation right behind my chair (and I mean right behind - a couple of times someone actually leant on it's back whilst I was still in it!) so I ended up bailing out and took the dog for a walk around the grounds for ten minutes.

The dog has forgiven me because she came to work today. It was quite amusing she went straight to the old office first off but within a couple of trips to the kitchen to get a cup of tea, she's now worked out where our new home is. It was v. hot though so I might leave her at home tomorrow as it's cooler here.

Someone has left me positive feedback on an ebay item and I haven't even sent it yet! I did fret until I got home from work and checked wondering if I'd boobed and sent the wrong thing again but no, the item is still here and I haven't sent it because they haven't paid yet! I've sent them a nice message..

Tonight I think I'm going to wash the throws on the chair and settee as the weather is set fair for tomorrow plus any other washing I can find - it can all go out on the line tonight and be dry when I get home from work tomorrow. That will be my flying task for tonight.

I hoovered all the woodwork in the hall - which is cheating a bit :p

Once I have supper ready for everyone I am off on a window cleaning challenge (outside!) I am going to start with the patio doors and that might be where I finish too!

I better get a wriggle on - I was supposed to nip out for a the kids supper tonight (as was not available for delivery last night  ) but with getting ds from school early... So I took some chops in the freezer but they are taking forever to defrost...

    Evening eveyone.

Not much flying done here today. Been out wth daughter choosing paint and stuff as Im funding her decorating. Thought it might lift her spirits a bit as she is getting really down cos of eldest GS behaviour. Its beautiful weather here and I think that helps as well.

lil_me DD rang electric company again. Then her friend had a brainwave. Youngest GS has only had 6:eek: speakers rigged up to his hifi. Last week when she was out most of the week he will have been [strike]blasting[/strike] playing his music. He has now removed them and she is going to see if that makes a difference. Also I did a price comparison for her and she is changing suppliers. Been onto them bout mine and they are changing the meter. So will wait before doing a comparison for me. Night shift so been to bed for a couple of hours.

Pigpen Thats awful bout your Wilkos order. If I saw that happening to a neighbour I would be out like a shot.

Soappie.....i'm going to join you and wash the covers on my sofa. We've had it since DD was 18 months old and she's 9 now. It's looking very dirty and I don't want to think what's on it...slightly worried about cooking it but lets hope it doesn't shrink. Here goes .....

Chasingbutterflies had the same problem with my DS today. Though he didnt even make it into school. he felt unwell this morning think its the heat though, as he wanted to go out and play with his friends this evening.

Pigpen- Your neighbour sounds lovely  . Why if you saw that a delivery had been left on the path would you not take it in till your neighbour came home.
