Chicken Thighs

Just looked out the leaflet that came with my electric steamer.
It suggests 25 minutes for cooking 4 chicken drumsticks and to grill to brown if one wants. That's the closest (says 12-15 minutes for chicken breasts (skins removed)). Doesn't seem very long to me so I think I would give thighs 30 minutes. I'll have to try it soon.0 -
I cook 2 chicken breasts without skin for 20 mins. Perfect every time.0

Thanks, shopndrop, 20 mins for chicken breasts sounds much more like it than 12-15.0

Do you brown it first?0

I've never steamed chicken breast / thighs before - it's either been in the oven or slowcooker. Does the chicken have a different taste to it when it's been steamed? I might give it a go, but like the OP I would have been worried about how long to cook it for. There is something delicious about writing the first words of a story.
