Spend your GIRO wisely and stay off the Council POP!All come to he who waits!
£14997.00 still to go by December 2008

Not milk, but I bought some food from Holland & Barretts for lunch today that turned out to be a bit mouldy inside after I'd eaten 2/3 of it. I wasn't terribly impressed, especially given that my resistance to dodgy food is pretty low because of health issues. I'm wondering if the shops haven't noticed it's hot yet and aren't chilling things properly.0

Because people will moan on this forum if their bag of 40 sweets only had 39. Then they'll want £20 for the emotional distress it caused.0 -
cs have told me i have to take the empty bottle back up to the store and getout some kind of form to fill out to send of. y on earth the Tesco manager couldnt have told me this in the first place i do not know.

this is the consumer vent board so i am venting, also just imagine if there were 100 other customers having the same problem who just though 'well i wont say anything its only a bottle of milk'. there could be a problem with thier fridges and if no one was to moan and complain about it then they wouldnt know so wouldnt get it sortedWins for 2011: ........................

They will, they have to check them more or less every 4 hours.0 -

I think, uktim, that you are being unnecessarily pedantic. The OP has already mentioned the inconvenience of the soured bottle of milk - if you buy a product, you don't expect it to be unusable. Supermarkets want to provide better customer service than rival supermarkets - they cannot do this if they do not receive feedback from the very customers they are trying to provide a service to!
I have noticed from your posts that anything anti-Tesco hits a nerve - perhaps if the OP had bought the offending item in Morrisons say, you wouldn't be so vocal in your complaints?Watch this space...0
