Welcome to the challenge kitkat .(mmmmmmm chocolate.....oops sorry) i have added you to the list of challengees on the first post of the thread. Basically we are just gonna do our best to be debt free by next year, if it don't happen well this thread will be carrying on as as debt free for those that didnt make it and a savings thread for those who did, so theres no escape either way lol! best of luck kitkat and feel free to use this thread for whatever you want, as a diary,like jenjade as a daily motivational posting or just as a place to rant if you get annoyed!!!

yeah it is a relief that next month is covered but i still want to get ahead for the month after so no rest for the wicked jen!!!

thats a great idea! also can highly recommend quidco (it sounds to good to be true but it is..free money!!! ) and also pigsback, i'm useless at posting links but a search on the forums should come up with the results!

just done william hill through quidco, paid a fiver but get 10 pound back, didnt win anything tho and this better track or there will be trouble lol!!!

my lotto is still tracking!! a lot of things are i have £27 paid this month £50 validated and £110 tracked!!! i wish i was born with patients#! i want my money now!! AHHHH
been playing free bingo didn;t know if i would be able to get the cash if i won but i fancied playing and it was free entertainment.
i have not done much today. i worked longer so i could finish early tomorrow to take dd to a party. found a pressie for the lad in my jan bargains box!!
keeping an eye on my e bay and i have 6 items with bid so that is good..

no still not tracked will put in an enquiry soon, wierd thing is William hill is pending at 20 instead of 10 pounds??!! Not complaining if I get it!

Well done on finding a pressie jen, I've got my sisters and dads birthdays in June but already have their pressies, then oh's in July, will make a card and have a cd bought off ebay but have to find something else ( cheap LOL !)

my william hill is also showing at £20 not sure if i will get tit though as i didn't bet the full amonut i got muddled up.!
working 9.30 till 1pm today then taking dd to a party hopeing the car will make it there on the petrol it has as it is 3p cheaper in Frome! so will fill up there. i haven't been to the supermarket for a while trying to use what we have should save a fortune...
bank balance is looking very nice still and i get paid thursday or fri!
i am inpressed with myself how much money i can save by just thinking before buying using what we have and being sensible. i have enjoyed watching my bank balance! right better sort dd out she has holiday club today!! £15 ouch never mind it is only today!

Well i came in extra early to work today because i didnt do a lot yesterday (was very demotivated!), and i have already finished all of my work. :j Even my boss asked why i was in early, and i told him i didnt feel great yesterday so didnt feel i had got very far with work, he looked chuffed i had made the effort to come in early, so that can only be good!

Had a few items end on ebay yesterday, only 1 didnt have a bid. I made £15.13, got 2 items today, both with bids, so that will be a minimum of £4.00

My WH tracked at £20 as well :j And i got the £10 i wont at bingo from paddy power into my account too.

Hello all! sounds like everyone is having a good day so far

i cant wait for payday....hoping might get it tomorrow instead of friday, or at least get my payslip so i know how much i can pay off. just picked up a tenner from the wedding shop for a sold pendant but that is going straight in a card for an 18th birthday present,still at least its not coming out of my 'normal' wages.
alliance and leicester switch seems to be going ok, had a letter saying they are transfering my direct debits so thats good, we will see:D

I hope i get paid tomorrow as well! I havent had my payslip either, and if my calculations are correct i should have £200 tax rebate, and possibly an extra £20 a month from no on (due to wrong tax code last 2 months) :j

Glad the bank transfer is going well. Nothing worse than having to wait though. Fingers crossed the rest goes swimmingly :cool:

I was thinking of signing up to the Alliance & Leicester ISA on quidco. Will double check all the T&Cs first, but if i sign up for it could get £100 odd back from Quidco.
