    Morning

Well my loan payment came out today, which brings it down to £910.64, under the £1K mark! :j

however i think my new pay date will mess me up a bit (its 5 days later than my old one) as i dont have enough money in for my rent and i think that is due tomorrow  Oh well....

Hope everyones having a good day!, jen, the gala casino link is working but when i joined it said that as i am a member of gala bingo i could use my existing username etc. quidco says that the offer is for new accounts only so didn't want to pay out in case i count as not a new member.

yay sub 1k on your loan thats great! will you get charged if your rent comes out or have you got a (unused!) overdraft?

I will get charged unfortunately, but i suppose i learn the hardway and will be trying to juggle my money so that i have the amount left in there every month, until the next payday (if that makes sense?).

Fingers crossed wages go in on Thursday at the latest

thats a pain Amy, oh well at least your driving is paid for, you can always claim your charges back when your sorted.

shopaholic, good luck with your ebaying!!

I have a bit of a dilemma, i am currently driving a nissan micra worth about 1800 quid which when i am debt free i will be selling when i have saved enough for my MINI, what i am considering is buying an old banger and selling the micra now, instead of 2/3 years down the line when it will prob be worth only 900 quid. I havent got major fears of getting an old car as my oh used to be a mechanic. trouble is my parents dont know about my debt so the money would have to go into savings not off my debt but at least it would be gaining interest. will get charged for cancelling insurance but that would be made up for by quidco cashback on new insurance. what would u lovely lot do?

    Hi MM

Why would your money have to go into savings? Even if your parents dont know abut your debt, could you not say its savings and pay off some of your debt?

I would personally sell the car, but only if you are going to pay off the debt straight away. You may get an ok cheap car, but sometimes when things go wrong, they go wrong big time (as what happened with my little fiesta!)....

Sorry im not much help  :rotfl:
