it depends on whether you have the cash to pay the catalogue off straight away- if you have it sounds like a bargain and then thats your main dds pressie sorted. If you can't pay it then avoid ! Last thing u need is another bill!
As for warranty a lot of the time they aren't worth the paper they're written on ( dont start me on my tv saga!) but as Cath says its something to consider.
Have a good day everyone!0 -
When you put your order in with Littlewoods, do it through pigsback and you will earn points -not sure but i think it's 4 points for every £ spent.thanks cath that is a good point. i want one for me and one for dd for x mas. the offer is with little woods £30 off your first order! and there is £10 off already the cheapest i can find one is £98 i will have a think about it today i thinkGE 36 *MFD may 2043

When I say warranty, I mean the normal 12 months warranty you get when you buy the product as opposed to an 'add-on'. It would be awful if Jen bought it now and gave it to her DD at christmas and then it go wrong within first 6 months. Because if Jen gets it now she will have had it 6 months already so warranty will run out in June July time 2009. I need a DS lite for my DD, her screen is kput. Someone on ebay advertises repairs if you send console, but i am dubious-I'm just not very trusting really. I might try the shops in town-is it Game? onme of the shops where you can trade in your old games and consoles? and purchase traded in games and consoles...I think Obviously the one I want isn't for a main present, it's one she can save up for-or buy out of her christmas moneymoneymabel wrote: »it depends on whether you have the cash to pay the catalogue off straight away- if you have it sounds like a bargain and then thats your main dds pressie sorted. Afternoon all, I'm just back from Brighton...
As you've been talking about ISA's I thought I'd share something I read the other day ... Apparently if you put the maximum in your ISA for 15 years with 6.1% interest, by the end you'd have nearly £100,000 saved (the figure was £90 something thousand but I can't remember exactly). Of that money you'd have only put £54,000 in, the rest would be interest. That did quite a lot to motivate me as in a few years I'd really like to get a mortgage.
Also Jen, if you do decide to buy the DS you can get 9% back from littlewoods if you buy through quidco. It says it excludes delivery charges and VAT but it would still be over the 4% which pigsback give

Thanks Amy, yes I did receive the spreadsheet. Thank you I shall be tinkering with it later-trying to make a copy of it so I can play around and make alterations so I can use it for rest of this year as well as doing it next year!!!. My amount for July is growing...slowly (in my sig)

It's good you're going to pay using a debt card Jen, I'm trying to wean myself off of paying for everything using my credit card. I only really do it because I'm scared I'll accidently go over my overdraft and get charged. I got one for christmas last year in black but I love the new red colour. I don't know how old your daughter is but if she is likely to chop and change which colour she'd like I'd say go for the basic black or white... there isn't much not to like about either of those colours. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470
