Hello everyone, seems like I haven't posted here for ages!

It's a shame about Barclaycard Aussie, I got a bit annoyed with them too lately but for a different reason, at least the £20 will hopefully cover it. I love work christmas outings, there's nothing like seeing your manager drunk and out of control AND getting fed for free!

I haven't got an awful lot to report on the debt front at the moment, I ordered a £10 argos voucher from valued opinions a couple of days ago and made £4 in high street vouchers yesterday. I'm trying to collect argos vouchers wherever I can from survey sites because I *really* miss having a TV in my room. As I can't afford one I'm planning to try and get one free using gift vouchers and nectar points. Will probably take me about 4 years :P.

After the amazon discussion the other day I'm also contemplating selling some of my non-textbooks on there. This months interest will get added to my ISA soon lol :D
    Finally bought a home

Hi. I've been sorting out the loft this afternoon and found no less than 7 boxes of books I need to get rid off...so it looks like I will be listing loads on ebay after I have checked out rarity and prices on amazon.

Hi nicki,I got 80p interest this month on my new current account yay! Good luck with amazon. I've got 1015 points on pigsback nearly enough for voucher for my uncle for Xmas and once my completed surveys on valued opinions stop pending I will have enough for another one for friends daughter, am getting there!
  • I'll let you know how easy it is - we've decided to go and see Wanted. Have even decided to eat from freezer, so as long as the movies goes ok, it'll be a no spend day for us! Yay

hello all-just been out with the dog and come back to find ive sold another book on amazon, their postage allowance is pants but hey its a sale and another 3 quid in my isa!
Hope you all are having a good day
  • Morning (well, I can try and convince myself it's still morning) all! Well done on the book MM, I'm going to have to have a look at all of my books and see which ones I can do without and try to get them onto Amazon. Every little helps, you'll soon see the benefits in your ISA!

Movie last night was pretty good, not the most realistic but I enjoyed it. Can't believe how easy it was to just swipe the nectar card to pay, thought I was going to have to fight them for it but they took it straight away. 1300 points each though so don't know how effective the use of points is (don't understand the nectar points but dont shop at sainsburys that often so don't collect too many of them!)

Now we're trying to decide what to do today, OH wants to get out of the house and we managed to not spend anything yesterday so we are 'allowed' on meal out this weekend!

Hope everyone else is enjoying their lazy sunday!

    Afternoon All

Glad you enjoyed the film Aussie. I was meant to be going today but my sister called me up last minute and cancelled. I dont think im going to bother anymore.

Well done MM on the book sales. :j

Im going to watch some DVDs (again!) today. My sisters ex husband lent me Heroes Season 1. I watched the first 2 last night and it was very good. :p

Eventful night last night. My neighbours are very rough and pretty much alcoholics. Well a few months ago someone tried to break into my flat when i was in. I went loopy at the front door, theyr an off, police were called. Long story short they arrested guy next door, but because i couldnt say it was 100% him they let him ago. I have had no trouble until last night they were rowing in the street. She was crying saying he had hit her. So i went downstairs and told her to come into my flat and we called the police. They took him away and took her to make a statement. Disgusting man. I am going to phone the council on Monday and complain. he is a council tenant and so am i and he shouldnt be given council housing when all he does is drink all day and beat his partner up.

Anyhoooooo... thats my rant out the way. :rotfl: Waiting for my dad and step mum to come over. I have some cinema tickets they can have. :D
