have a good day Amy-enjoy the kittens!
Just realised i havent paid the £25 for those mini mags off my debt, and also just sold another book on amazon for £20 after fees etc (is a big lord of the rings illustrated jobby) so off to update sig wooooooo!
  • Hey all, how is everyone this morning?

MM - I had to have a giggle at your mantra when you see a new mini, it reminded me of when I was trying really hard to lose weight and bought a 'Think Slim' book. They talked about unhealthy food being for the other people so I would walk around the city centre seeing people with macdonalds or a can of coke (my biggest vice) and would chant to myself "that food is for the other people".

I managed to come away from the work Zoo party last night with ALL the money I took to spend and all 4 free drink tokens I started with - gotta love free wine and champers. Was pretty cool all standing around drinking champers while the lion roared at us!!!

Hmmm, now i'm going to go off and open can of coke (now I'm one of the other people!)
Hope everyone is as excited as me that it's Saturday!!

sounds like you had a great time Aussie!!! Thats so cool!
Having mcdonalds for lunch ( I'm not paying!) and its not for the other people LOL !
  • Thinking there are some advantages for working for a private healthcare company! It's the first work function I've ever been to but apparently they are all like that - now I'm thinking maybe it was a mistake to go away and miss all the christmas parties last year! I'll be there with bells on this year!

You enjoy that macdonalds, extra flavoured with freeness!! And I'm enjoying my can of coke - so we're both one of the others!

  • Freeness, hunger and 'I didn't do it' all increase the flavour and enjoyment of food!

  • Grr, banks annoy me! Just rang barclaycard to find out why I have been charged interest when I was told that I had a 0% BT and 0% purchases for 12 months to be told that I never had 0% purchases. I have asked on numerous occassions as I didn't want to be caught paying the BT off first while paying interest on purchases and was assured that this would not happen. So now there is no way to prove that I was told that i had the 0% deal on purchases for 12 months and that they made the mistake, not me!

He offered to refund the interest (a whole £3.54, which isn't the point) - I then told him that I would still be charged this interest next month and so £3.54 wouldn't make any difference. So he has agreed to refund £20 to cover the interest until I have paid off the balance transfer amount (hopefully in less than 5 months so that I am ahead!). But I'm really annoyed that I was lied to and feel tricked.

I asked to put in a complaint which was when he offered me the £20, and I wonder whether they are now worried about the complaint statistics now that they will have to publish these! Maybe I should wait for the £20 to go in and then put a complaint in anyway!

Sorry about my whinge, just had to get that off my chest!

Hope you guys are having a more successfull day than me and that your maccas tasted fantastic MM!
