I've not included Quidco into my spreadsheet, so if i get any money from Quidco from now until November that will be chucked that the debts too, never know it may knock a month off the DFD!

I'm starting to buy my Christmas presents now too. I already have a Vtech winni the pooh baby laptop for my little niece. It was reduced to £7.99 on Boots website last month (RRP £29.99). And also picked bits up from Boots in January, all there 3 for 2 bits 75% off, so got quite a few bargains then too. I might make a few family members hampers like i did last year, and they went down VERY well.

I have 400 piggy points so far, hopefully byy xmas should have enough for 1 or 2 £10 vouchers for Topshop - be good extra xmas gift for my sister.

I think Jen will be debt free first. I wouldn't want to be first, i'd much rather be second :-)

Boots have so many bargains in January, most of there bits go to 75% off, its great. I keep looking out for more sales on the boots website. I know Boots have Christmas evenings, you spend £50 and get £10 back in boots points. I went to one last year and it was brilliant. Got all my Christmas bits in November and got £20 boots points because some items you get bonus points.

    Is Jen on holiday?

Good morning. I have had a good week selling my unwanted stuff on ebay-not so unwanted after all!!! I hope to have saved £1000 by end of august 2008, I have £600 at present and some more to go into that account, not sure how much until I work out finances etc.
    You're all doing really well.
I hope to have paid off my catalogue by christmas-bearing in mind kids keep adding to it. I think it stands at about £600 at the mo. Might put it in my sig to give me an incentive...at least it's an interest free debt.
I found £6 worth of M & S vouchers last night that I didn't realise we had...hope they are still valid, I reckon they are probably 8 years old!!!
So for christmas present spends at the moment my running total is £61 this is made up of:
£31 M & S Vouchers (£25 were free for switching utilities at end of last year)
£30 Boots vouchers (from Pigsback points). I also have about £18 pounds worth of Boots points on my advantage card and 760 pigsback points (hoping to get enough points for at least 1 more £10 voucher possibly 2.
I also have £10 Morrisons vouchers and £61 Morrisons savings stamps-for my christmas food shop.
It seems to be going quite well at the moment (touch wood!!!)
right, Off to put kettle on for a cuppa!!!

By the way has anyone been to Asda for the 50pence deals?
Last night we went and got:

6 blocks of butter for 50pence each
    2 x 400g minced beef for 50pence each
    2 iceberg lettuce 50pence each
    2 x 250g punnets cherry tomatoes for 50pence each
    2 x cucumbers for 50 pence each
1 dozen eggs for 50pence per half dozen
They are having a price war thing apparently and from friday to sunday certain items are 50 pence each. I didn't manage to get any bread or grapes or melon (that are also in the promotion but they had none on the shelves!!!)
