    Hey everyone,

Not in a great mood today, this morning i remembered my Barclaycard was due YESTERDAY, so now i'm going to get a charge and a late payment on my file. I'm never late, it just slipped my mind as normally it comes out by direct debit, but cancelled that as in the middle of changing banks, not happy. The charge is £12, but i'm too fussed about the charge, its more having it on my file.

On a brighter note, i live 5 doors away from a colleague at work, so when she goes away I feed her cats.I enjoy going over there to feed and play with them, so i never expect anything from her, but went into her house last night to feed the cats and she had left a thank you card for me out and £20 of Oasis vouchers inside. It brought a smile to my face as i can actually go and treat myself for free - yay!!!

    Have a great day all

    Thats brill news Nicki.

    Hi Hayley

Oh thats annoying with your barclay card. Could you ring them up and ask them to cancel the charge. If its your first time then maybe they could cut you some slack? Might be worth asking. And i dont think you get a default on your file if you pay it within 30 days? I may be wrong.

I would give them a call and explain. :D

Awww that was nice of your friend. What are you going to get with your vouchers?

Thanks Amy. I'm just back from planting my new seeds :D

That's a pain Hayley, but I guess at least you got the vouchers at the same time to kind of balance it out (I know it isn't quite the same).

Tubby, my spine curves a bit so I have back ache a lot of the time. In one of the pound shops (can't remember which one it is) they sell tubes of deep heat, I mean the actual branded stuff. I know it won't save you any money now but if you need it again it's a lot cheaper than Boots :).

Oh how cool to be under £2K MM, that will be fantastic.

Im aiming to pay off £600 on my CC this month, which would take me under £2K on that. I really want to try and pay off £1K, so we shall see.

I spoke to a very unhelpful member of Barclaycard today, they said they weren’t able to wave the charge, and it will show up on my file as a late payment, not a default, which is good news I guess. Still can’t believe I forgot to pay, damn damn damn!!!

Amy – I will probably just use the vouchers and get myself a new belt, in need of a new one to go with a new top my OH bought me at the weekend.

Well done MM – you are doing brilliantly. I’m hopefully going to be near 2K by the end of July. I really wish I could pay off more at the end of this month but I am paying for my holiday, so will only manage around £300, which is better than nothing!!

Nice work on the big pay off ladys! Just had a call from a nice lady where I have applied for a job and she has told me about another job with them with better prospects which she thought I'd be a good candidate for, totally out of the blue :D

Everyone seems to be doing really well, it's very encouraging :).

That's great news tubby, hopefully you'll get it. My debt is a bit stagnant as things stand because my only income is from ebay and I'm still having to pay the £155 off my car every month and live, but as soon as I find myself a job I really want to eat into it and get rid of the car payments by the end of the year still.
